This is based on the old price earlier this year before spod 5 was also worth mining. Lower price spod 5 is now 1250 dollars per tonne.
It is simply a case of chilling and waiting.

ELsteve- this will translate exactly onto the balance sheet, because now they have a real asset. However, the balance sheet will not be updated until final accounts in 2022. Once they know how much additional spod 5 they have to add to the total. Spod 6 is already in the bag.
Unless of course they make reference to it in the interim report.

Sonofyoda, if you are looking long term we would expect until the study or the annual accounts are released, most of us are settled in until then, 2022.
However, there is a risk factor for us that it could fly up too high before then. A leak of a potential deal. A company offering a buyout. A hint of the amount of additional spodumene 5, and prices per tonne could set off a stampede. I am more interested in other deals around the world to see what the new high priced lithium landscape looks like.
If you like trading, you may be lucky with some news or not. But we are due an interim report this month.

Hope, the other concern is the Chinese have got the last of the cheap deals, the date the first agreement is signed is key and all of their deals were first signed when lithium was cheaper. The way our offtake was signed last year, (but ours timed out) it is not the big publicised date when the mine can sign too. All deals I have seen to date have not had the first agreement, which is binding, signed after the steep rise in lithium prices.
The West will be paying near, if not, double the price.

Kidoo, that is the purpose of the study, is spod 5 commercially viable on top of the existing tonnage of spod 6.
To be honest spod 6 is so valuable it is worth a fortune anyhow. So spod 5 is a bonus.
I think until Kodal put the asset value in their accounts next year, there are some who cannot comprehend how much it is worth.

In this market you do not want an offtake agreement in place, it needs quantifying first, because spod 5 has value today, but it had none when we applied for the licence.
It is simple really, calculate what you have to borrow against or sell, before you start dealing.
How could you sell or value anything when you do not know what you are selling or valuing?
Spod 6 is in the bag. How much spod 5 and is it worth chasing?

Claps, converting their first to a mine, you are stating the obvious, it is their first. However, what is amazing is their first successful exploration is turning into a mine.
Normally it takes more exploration.
Once they mine they are a junior miner.
If you want to invest in companies who have mined, I would suggest miners not explorers.

Ghoti, apart from small change current money 1 or 2m, there should not be dilution with the lithium deals available. Offtakes with loan facilities, too many options to list. Before these high prices there was dilution, not now.

Pjt, yes and some poorly researched people will expect the big capital raise as that is the normal procedure. I was expecting a small one for additional spod 5 drilling, maybe 2m max, because spod 5 was not in the original plan, but that has not happened, so far. Our big finance facility will be in 2022. It could be anything a very big cheque and a JV, or an offtake agreement with a cheap or even free loan facility. We will see.

Interesting to watch, two big sells totalling 11m shares are the difference between the buys and sells and the share drops nearly 10%. They could keep buying in small amounts and dumping in large amounts and clicking 10% if that continues. The 1 and 2m buys will start dropping in again if that is what they are doing.

Squeezit, I have seen share experts on video, and be careful how you absorb this, not based on the release of a study or any other one event, say that the average increase in share price from previous companies moving from explorer to junior miner is 10 to a 20 times multiple. This company would need to move to a 300m plus value, we have gains already, which will easily be achieved. Lithium has added another dimension to this with crazy prices as others have said. Due to this price and demand everyone is sat back waiting for the figure as we are clueless, never seen demand or price rises like this, ever.
