RE: Morons27 Sep 2022 10:31
If anyone seriously thinks that this can be transacted faster than a simple house transaction is completed in the UK then really they should pack in investing.
Of course disruptive texts by folk who invest in another lithium share should be discounted by any serious Kodal investor, we all know who you are.
If this is completed by November that is quick, this is a huge site and the penalties and clauses on any agreement will be complex, legal documents like these are not drawn up and agreed in a few weeks.
Painful as it is, we just have to wait or get out, we have the choice.
Lithium is so valuable the third parties are in the weaker position than in the past and penalties and clauses placed upon them will be a relatively new experience, therefore likely to take longer to assess and agree than the old take it or leave it scenarios.
In addition those third parties have to be more careful with their upstream contracts and make sure they are not more vulnerable than before lithium rose steeply, making upstream contracts more complex too.
We could be in a small chain where two contracts need signing simultaneously.
No doubt we will find out afterwards.
No deal is an extremely unlikely outcome, lithium is too valuable too sought after and multiple entities are interested in Kodal.
