They are going to work through a proven resource with a low overhead production plant, this is an efficient way of operating.

A pilot plant not working through a proven resource but ground with previous mine workings is nowhere near as efficient and carries much higher costs per tonne extracted, multiples of cost, not just a few dollars.

A lower sale price would impact net profit a lot with a pilot plant.

You need to know what they found to see if it is still feasible.

So far neither quality or the ability to produce a set tonnage have been demonstrated.

Aimis, they will have sampled from day one. A noisy CEO has gone very quiet on this subject.

Nobody runs a plant and does not sample the end product until there are a few hundred tonnes, you can't get that time back. Equipment such as below.

Tomra mining works very differently to the manufacturer Prem have used.

They have three test centres around the globe, mines or exploration sites send material to these test centres and Tomra work out the best way to construct the plant, look at the issues on each type of ground and advise on the best combinations

In Stark's defence that is, to a point, what a pilot plant is for, but not if you rely on a mininum output to keep your head above water.

When using a pilot plant in this way ATM have some much more grounded expectations in their forecasts.

Buggerit, if you are interested in the plant technology then look at Pilbera and how their production plant has been constructed and designed to sort the material from their mine. It is being constructed.

It has been around for 70 years in diamond mining but is new to lithium.

I would be interested to know on site how they know they are in good pay dirt but the plant is missing it or vice versa.

They are opening another cut soon, which implies somewhere else may be better than where they are now. Yet the plant is being adjusted.

Remember this is a pilot plant to find lithium not a production plant working through a proven resource.

Nobody knows for certain what lies in this ground because it has already been mined.

There is none, by definition to be a lithium miner you need to mine lithium.

Joey, one small detail, so far no lithium, you are right they could have a carrier bag worth 10p.

They have no jorc, therefore the pilot plant is there to find lithium.

But they spent a lot of cash on testing, so why is there no lithium to date?
