It was long said in days of yore, an aim listing was worth around 500k, a Main Market Like icon a basic £1m, so 150% rise need just to get to the basic pricing.

£1m - £2m being the base line set for many an RTO I have been in, that then used as the basis for issue of new shares/conversion to the target company and an overall combined base case value on return, most of which have then boomed and exceeded that base value initially, on return to market.

Long way to go from this level, if they can EVER get something over the line.........GLA

Defence spending will rise to 2.6% of GDP by April 2027, the Chancellor has revealed as she announced the Government's spending review.

Rachel Reeves said the increase would  see the defence budget increase by £11bn, which will be partly funded by cutting the overseas aid budget.

She also outlined investment in the defence industry, including the building of new attack submarines for the Royal Navy and the production of munitions for the military.

It comes a week after plans for military spending were outlined in the Strategic Defence Review in response to what Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer called "a new era of threat".

Investment in growing the size and lethality of the Army, boosting the UK's air power and investment in military accommodation were also mentioned in the SDR.

Defence review and had already had my eyes on this company.

The main thing to take from the defence review when considering this company was the realisation by the MOD that you cannot take 10 years to want a new tank and it then takes 10 years beofre the army gets it. You cannot want a new style of boot if it takes 2 years to design and make.

The military has learnt a lot from Ukraine, drone technology is ever evolving, you need to want a drone to do XYZ and you need it on the front line yesterday. The same for artillary shells and missiles.

This company is one of those that can help speed things up and shorten time scales hence my interest in them.

Bought 10,000 shares at 24.5p and tucked away. Am I right? ask me in six months time but it looks a reasonable bet.

p.s. Tony Radakin was worth watching answering questions to the defence committe and was a good insight to the inner working of the militay and how things are changing. The MOD is looking at the world as if on a war footing and if you think about that in todays climate its maybe a good id
