RE: One Big Chunky Order...29 Jan 2018 11:43
Please don't shoot me down in flames - I don't own any of these shares and am still trying to understand how it works before buying in. Hope someone on here can help answer.
I can see one big positive is the take up of carbon fuelled cars/trucks. Much better bet as far as I'm concerned that all electric. And I see that ITM has some kind of arrangement with Shell - they have a (very) few of their plants on Shell forecoarts in the UK. But how does it work - does ITM simply build and supply the plants to Shell and then, presumably, maintain them? Or does ITM rent/lease the space on Shell forecourts, install the plants and then make their money dependent on how much Hydrogen is purchased by motorists? If it's the second option, why aren't they rolling them out a bit quicker - it's chicken and the egg - if motorists are confident that they will be able to find somewhere to fill up with Hydrogen then they're far more likely to buy a Hydrogen fuelled car.
Apologioes if the above sounds pretty stupid.
