Assuming it goes ahead they'll have a lot of cash to invest in the Hydrogen story. Surely a fair bit of that will be allocated to ITM???

P&O Cruises’ new 40-night winter sun Caribbean cruise on Aurora sold out in six hours on its first day on sale, with the line saying that the reaction demonstrates the pent up demand for cruise travel. Paul Ludlow, president at P&O, said the reaction ‘clearly demonstrates the desire from our guests for international cruising.’

Are you a shareholder?

If so, why not drop a very quick email to hipgnosis@fticonsulting.com asking why you, as a loyal shareholder, are being denied access to the Q&A for analysts via webcast at 12:00pm on July 5th?

They may not want PIs to ask awkward questions but what's the problem with us being able to watch and listen?

The more that ask the more likely they are to take notice.

Even I don't think this is currently a £9.4Bn company.

Given how long everything takes and what IP protections ITM has then wouldn't it be easier for Chile to purchase finished products "off the shelf" to meet their requirements within the timescale mentioned?

Already mention has been made of ITM building another gigafactory alongside the existing Sheffield facility and expanding to build capacity in Australia.

If the orders pour in maybe they'll end up with factories on multiple continents.

Pure speculation on my part. I have no idea.

Does it though (build a factory for Chile)?
I thought they (ITM) addressed this idea on the last webcast and said they see themselves as manufacturers selling finished products together with servicing agreements to end users rather than a company licensing their process.

Ah well - we "of a certain age" still think that way.

You may already be aware that the Scottish Government’s roadmap out of lockdown differs from other parts of the UK, which means they will not be accepting cruise ships until the country reaches level 1 and some restrictions are lifted. Not that anyone should care or take any notice but sold out today.

Not a fan of Nil cost options for those in charge. They already hold sackfuls of shares and get paid very very well. Exchanging options that they actually have to pay for for freebies doesn't strike me as being particularly optimistic by the founders.

Just because the catalogue value increases due to competition doesn't mean revenues will increase.

Also don't think people should worry about any "dilution" effect of issuing more shares in order to buy more songs. So long as the songs are purchased at "sensible" prices then existing holders end up with a slightly smaller share of a bigger pie. This is not the same as shareholders having to stump up cash to repair a balance sheet.

Are you sure though (about "all the extra shares")? HL typically take the cash out of your account to cover the amount you've applied for as soon as you apply. And then credit your account later for those shares you were unsuccesful with.

What I took them to say during the presentation is that they are focussing on refueling stations for commercial and heavy duty transport (trains, busses, trucks, big fleets).

Maybe the finances don't stack up for smaller vehicle refueling stations such as they have on Shell forecourts?

Back to the chicken and egg scenario.

I appreciate that "industrial" is probably the side with the most future potential but I was glad to read:

"ITM Motive expects to rapidly grow its network of refuelling stations in the UK......."

Chicken and egg - negligible number of outlets means negligible number of hydrogen powered vehicle sales. I'd certainly buy a hydrogen powered car if being able to refuel was straightforward.

Hm. In case it helps, I received mine via HL showing paid on May 28th, although they do often credit dividends later than due date but show it as paid on the correct date.
