You should indirectly start to feel the vaccination programme effects by the day for the older generations close to you should as many now be starting to get their letters inviting them for the vaccination. If you go out for a walk or exercise and converse with people you will find exactly the same. What was previously scarce is now becoming noticeably more widespread.

When the Government held it's Downing Street Briefing with the PM, Sir Simon Stephens (NHS) and Brigadier Phil Prosser (101 Logistics, British Army) to announce the vaccination delivery plan it was mentioned back then from the Brigadier that they had effectively set up the equivalent of a large supermarket chain in a month.

It'll be an additional 7 to 10 more sites per week until they get to 50 mass testing sites established by the end of January.

It is military efficiency that you are seeing. Orders get issued and followed. No talking shops. No backchat.

Bet against it if you wish, or plant your acorns.

Our next reopening should be permanent.

There has been some really good vaccination momentum building since Friday's statistics with the number of vaccinations then and on Saturday now showing in excess of what is required for 2 Million doses per week. Now another 10 mass vaccination sites coming online tomorrow.

Control the visus through Lockdown but this time its different. Vaccinations should allow you to cure it. The combined effect of both is worth watching for because when stores get to reopen this time around imho it should be permanent.

And the present GP Hubs, Hospital Hubs, Mass Testing Sites and Community Pharmacies are only open from 8a.m. to 8p.m.

Pressure there for 24 hour opening in the press this week and the PM is actively looking at it.
Pressure there also for getting every sinew out of the vials and using it.
Many I suspect would happily attend at 4a.m. at an hours notice for the remnants of two vials from the same batch mixed together for the jab and to ensure none goes to waste.
Johnson and Johnson vaccine. 30 million one jab doses coming around the start of FEB, on approval for use.

It shouldn't be too long before we start seeing new names on the bulletin board.

By teatime Monday when the PM or Matt Han**** roll out to chair the next Daily Coronavirus Briefing vaccination wise we should be comfortably over 4M first dose vaccinations administerd and on our way to having completed one third of the 15M or so jabs required for the first 4 cohorts.

Bidens inauguration and I'm looking forward to him hitting the ground running and moving heavene and earth to building on Operation Warp Speed success in vaccine authorisation, with his pledge of 100M vaccines to be administered in 100 days.

Its starting to come together.

We only needed 2M per week jabs to get to the 15th Feb with the Top 4 Cohorts having had their first jab then a couple of weeks later that takes 88% of your risk out of the death rate.

End of March (and probably before that) with the next Cohorts targetted right down to the Over 50's and those with other underlying risk conditions and then thats 99% of your mortality out of the system.

Johnson and Johnson vaccine approval at the end of Jan, beginning of Feb and it being produced for quick delivery thearafter should tie in nicely with the full Mass Vacc ramp up. 3o million doses on order and its a one shot jab.

Vaccination rate I thought would take us till end Jan ti get up to speed but here we are surpassing 300k per day for 3 days on the trot. We haven't even had the 7 mass testing centres open for a week as well. 50 of these coming.

Infection rate is also trending downwards.

Just need that to now time lag its way through to hospitalisations and mortality rates which it will.

Its only Lockdown measures that are causing the present dip. Just wait till the vaccine effect kicks in.

With working vaccines the Government are correctly targeting and prioritising the right high risk groups to take 88% off the present mortality figures and they need to vaccinate 2 Million people by 15th February to achieve this.

In last Coronavirus update they have been vaccinating 320,000 each of the last two days having only started to ramp the vaccination programme up and we still have a massive number of extra sites to come online by the end of the month. That sees up to and surpassing the 2M per week, if sustained. There are a huge number of sites still to come online and for instance the 7 Mass Testing sites are set to expand to 50 by the end of January. See the Delivery Plan "Places".

This time around though, unlike the previous lockdown, things are different for vaccines will cure and remove the need for any further lockdowns and restrictions allowing the shops to reopen and stay open.

I applaud your wives efforts and the spirit of all working within health and public service domains that are striving to return us to normality.

I did say Professors Doom and Gloom for once looked and came across remarkably pleased.

320,000 vaccs per day at the minute and nowhere near full ramp up and "Spring time". Conservative imho given vaccination effects have yet to lick in. Should start to see them gradually reduce numbers and start to impact noticeably in about 10 to 14 days time.
