I have the individual on filter PW for my own reasons. Immaturity, troll sympathiser and suspected trader. You can kind of gauge things from when they appear and post.

They can reply to me all day long. What they post is to me worthless and as such I miss nothing if it is not viewable. There are no novel insights or even any great level of research. Most importantly I don't waste any of my time replying.

In the main I post information and support it with the links attached. If they don't like it tough love. Facts and links are hard to argue against.

Vue were up to 75% attendance last time I saw their CEO give an update in the Independent and now EMAN are up to 80% attendance. Those are very good numbers and represent further improvement and given the additional increase in F+B concession spend and moving forward into Bond and the films we know are coming in Q4.

Best just to ignore and not respond to any of them. We are now at the juncture where attendance levels will be getting back to pre-pandemic levels.

The share price is nowhere near that and sooner or later it will catch up to reflect that. If it doesn't then they get taken over or the list, or part list in the US as they have stated they are looking at.

Bond advert has just popped up on BT sport at half time in the Chelsea v Man City game.

Amidst all the build up and hype to the big Bond movie and this weeks events in court some may be excused for taking their eye off the ball with an update from one of our UK competitors, Everyman Media (EMAN).

Not just up to 80% capacity but plans to open a further have dozen cinemas. One they are opening in Selfridges I believe.

Good Morning small trader and others. We seem to be getting bogged down in a much heated debate with the posters who to be frank have never had a good word to say about the company. Some will be ptp. They only offer an opinion, the same as you or I and as PW has pointed out recently, it takes more time to reply to them than simply skipping over them. If it is of any assistance to you I have the likes of D9, Bonkers and others on filter not just as naysayers but for various reasons. Others I just either don't reply to or have fun with.

Don't get involved in their disruption or get distracted by them and remain focussed on what is now in front of us. It has taken us several progressive months to get to where we now are.

*Bond premieres on the Red carpet this coming Tuesday - 28th.
*Opening weekend starts on 30th Sept. US 8th October and many many countries in between. High pre-sale tickets we are all aware of. I would not wish to be a walk-in trying to get a last minute seat.
* Just about to enter Q4 with several high end films in there.
* Court case is going far better than anyone pre-start had ever imagined. We have had legal input throughout and our defence, and don't forget counterclaim has been impeccable.

If you want to do anything to help the cause of CINE and the full theatrical industry then get yourself booked up for Bond and treat the family or friends and take them along as well. etc. In that way you introduce or reintroduce them to the cinema experience and how relatively safe it is, and inexpensive. Or Marvel Carnage, or Halloween Kills or Dune, (or whats on presently that you haven't already seen)

It's the weekend and lifes too short. Get out, make the most of it and enjoy it.

Funny show and really good account given by 4 of the cast including Daniel Craig. Couple of good reminders for the opening date and laced with clips and teasers.

Watched it also and with throughout I try to keep an objective and impartial hat on.

I noted your kind offer to accompany my family group last night. Given your new found profitability you don't need me to take you the Bond Movie. What you really should be doing is creaming off some of your profits and getting some of your lady or male friends together and going to see Bond in style. Make it special with a bit of VIP or a premium seat after a nice meal out and drinks. Not only that but I think you have many admirers on here who would jump at the chance to accompany you.

Just back to Cine (and others) volume backed rises are generally a good signand the chartists on here will have noted the jump through the circa 66.5 resistance and although maybe a little early the 71p resistance.

The difference this time imho is that every one of the pats days rises has been volume backed with over 10 M shares.

That is a big subtle difference.

Bond premiere is on Tuesday. Opens on Thursday.
Q4 is laden with very good films.

Jamesy1980. I have to agree with you on what I have seen so far. That $725 debt covenant and $5M consent provision as well as "the ordinary course" clause seems to have insulated this whole deal against the pandemic and imho has caused Cineplex to revert to a whole raft of options outside of the box or norm to saty under, +90 days payment terms, Queensway, not fully disclosing what has been going on. Back to Mr Steep and team this afternoon.

Now had time to reflect in this properly and mull it over. If Cineplex took the Government backed Leeff program monies which ended up being a loan deal then that would have been a further loan and pushed Cineplex over the $725M debt threshold. Covenant breach and deal off. The only other option that appeared on the table was the monies for the Queensway deal for the surrender of lease rights and entitlements for which they agreed $25M. Tight deadline placed on it with consequences. But under the another clause or covenant they needed Cineworld consent for anything over $5M. No evidence of consent sought or agreed.

Maybe this is what the market is reacting to.

Bond should be very good for cinema stock share price imho small trader.

For you get the UK release on the 30th Sept in The UK and what I think (probably know) will ultimately be the best Box Office since the pandemic. Could well be record UK Box Office opening weekend or very close.

Then it opens in the US on the 8th October for our Regal cinemas.

Venom Carnage, the next Marvel film opening on the 1st October is also a big bonus.

In fact from the Bond film right through October is a bumper month for films. The Halloween sequel "Halloween Kills" and Dune are also both in there along with the Many Saints of Newark, Last Night in Soho and The French Dispatch.
