Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
This is an expression used to describe an individual who, through their own mistake, has ended up in a worse situation than others - and then tries to convince them otherwise. The Fox in the story event went so far as to convince the other foxes that having NO tail was better than having A tail.
Anyone else wish to discuss Aesop Fables and folk tales this morning? :)
The BBC news makes Newsround seem like the Daily Politics these days, in my opinion. Hence why I check other platforms.
Call me crazy but I like to see what the rest of the world is reporting too. Either way, testing is here to stay. On a global level...

A frightening thought if true.
Test test test!
Just as 9/11 was a paradigm shift for airport security, so the pandemic will see testing as part of our travel rituals for the foreseeable, I believe.
As much as it displeases Deeks who would sooner have the world shut down. The clown.

It’s looking pretty bleak across the pond, sadly. Third wave in Europe gathering pace. I think we’re beginning to see how this goes unless you can suppress it somehow. To do so without locking down is the holy grail right now...
Test test test
Why criticise? Because the response to a poorly worded RNS is quite astonishing. Of course, there are likely other factors too but the timing is coincidental.
Why don’t you explain to us exactly what you think the RNS suggests? I’m not trying to be confrontational, hence why I haven’t gone to another board with the query.
But you have the stage, Sir Badfyman. Enlighten us!
I have mused, over the last few weeks, that the situation here could be like the Chinese approach to foreign diplomacy (as practiced by the British Empire in earlier centuries, for balance). Offer your technology / infrastructure / services on the cheap and get people hooked. Once you’ve reached a critical mass, you can dictate the price and wield enormous power. You control the market. It’s all rather alarming - unless you’re the dominant power calling the shots. In which case, global domination beckons.
If we can get our IP on the world stage, highlight its effectiveness and tie it in to existing and future technology, the world is Avacta’s oyster. In a purely magnanimous and altruistic manner, of course! There’ll be no gun boat diplomacy when it comes to saving lives :)
While this is surely good news for ODX, the benefits of being a test developer with the ability to license your IP is what we’ve all been aware of for some time.
To think we could have multiple manufacturing deals all over the world is why people are invested here. Third waves emerging and warnings of one here in autumn has proven the demand for testing will remain significant for months and years to come.
The process has been slow - necessarily so - and the extra hoops worth the extra effort to jump through. How better to advertise your wares than to have taken the time and proven your goods against a stringent government requirement? CE marking rubber stamps the product in another giant market place and you’ve now got a scalable process of a test that is, potentially, best-in-class.
Excited for further news imminently...
Goldtrig - you’re absolutely right. To even suggest there will not be an enduring global requirement to test is absurd. Hence my facetious comment.
You have to love the trolls’ attempts to convince us otherwise though :D
I have absolutely no doubt that the Coronavirus will disappear in spring and all the labs / testing facilities will be shut down and never be seen or heard of again...
