Might have known this would happen. The purpose of a sc is that the sp will not look so bad when it halves. Recent history is riddled with such examples.

If this happens who is doing what to whom? Is Party being taken over or is it a merger of equals? Can anyone answer please.

Thanks kiki,& Yana Thats an interesting analysis and reasoning. I was hanging in until April time to see if any of the "bigs" might start buying in in the new financial year. The company has a good international set up and could turn its attention to other areas, eg renewable energy controllers etc.Electronics can be diversified very easily, and I believe from the last presentation that they have a first class, get up and go sales force. But do stay in touch on this bb! Looks sort of quiet otherwise. Hope it doesn't start dropping back... GL with BAO! L

I watched a video on Trustnet this morning. They were hinting people are leaving fixed income funds and moving into commercial property throughout 2009 as it is now picking up.

I bought this coy in preference to APF as it seemed to have a broader spread of commodities Not sure if I've done the right thing? Comments welcome!

I've just read through the whole presentation. It certainly looks impressive. As an electronics engineer in former times (now moved sideways into education), I really understand it when they say they designed a solution to a problem which the "bigs" could not solve. I have done this during my electronic designing days, curiously enough, also while living in Leicester, home of TTE. There is a feeling of "get up and go and get stuck in" about their strategy, which is always a key product in success stories - I know! I think this company will develop into something big, ie sp northwards. PS thanks to my "mentor" on this site for the encouragement to stay with TTG - ( they're just having a breather, you said, as the sp trickled downwards). rgds L

How right you were! Just watched an iball video of this coy. The manager spelled out very clearly the case for getting into overseas, ie out of uk, for dividend growth as well as sp.
