I agree entirely and am holding the stock for at least the coming 12 months.

I held rnwh about three years ago and it was going nowhere, hovering around +/- 35p for ages. I knew it as a company a with good business, but reluctantly I sold it and bought CHAR.... we learn!

Strange - several large sells on the buy-sell list above but sp is rising now. It would be nice to see the divi rising along with the sp.

Thanks for replying Jange. I am not currently a shareholder in fcam, but have been on several occasions in the past when the divi was vg. Maybe that's where his money is coming from - he's nicking the divi?! Who knows, maybe he might reply to this bb query and let us know :-)

Does anyone know where Bramson gets his money from to buy £50 grands' worth of shares so regularly???? He's been buying £50k's worth of fcam shares at very regular intervals, if not almost daily for over a year now. He must be the only director on the LSE who buys so many of his company's share! Hello QE, well I was in pfd for a while about a year ago as I thought it was a recovery play, but I think the general economic climate spoilt its progress, so I left it. Ritter is a big German company famous for its chocolate bars (Ritter is German=Knight). Umm, interesting. Are there rumours about??? Further to my 10.19 post, I have just had a read back a page or two on the bb comments. for the novice person (Evamay?), I would like to add to QEs comments, that besides being careful of what posters say, one should also be careful of companies themselves. Many, many of them go bust, even good sounding, long established names, as I know only too well! A steady falling sp is usually a bad omen, so better to take a moderate loss and get out that a later big one. L

I normally always reply to comments that I receive from my posts, so if I overlooked you I apologise. I have stopped being avid watcher of bbs, so my replies are not always immediate. I usually only get involved with serious comment, and not the everyday banter one sees a lot of here. I once brought an advent calender from my home in Germany many years ago for my then young daughter - she's now 40 something, as they were unheard of in England, but now they are everywhere like our 'Schwenkengrille' (swing grills) cribbed from our Christmas markets. I don't know ROM, neither I had heard of him before these posts! There is always so much intrigue on these aim bbs, isn't there! Incidentally, Thorntons is situated near my UK 'Heimat' , so I have great affection for the company and always make a point of buying some goodies on my uk visits. I also 'observe' the shop to see how business is going, footfall etc. The uk seems to be having a tough time at the moment, but I think those who like up-market chocs have no problem paying for THTs quality, so the business potters on, as it always has done. I thought you are a little harsh on ROM! He is only giving his own experience of a duff decision leading to the loss. Aim is is a gamblers paradise with quick in-and-out opportunities. To go long-term on aim, and I too share ROM's experience, can be high-risk but there are also good companies with steady upside, as I am sure you know. The answer is simply a big yes to "is it a safe share"! This has being going steadily up for ages when every other biotech has had the opposite trend. I was in biocompatibles which was taken over by BTG. No way I am selling here as the products are real and not pie in the sky like most others one sees here on LSE. Also the market cap puts it out of reach of the pump and dumpers. If you look at the interday chart you will see it is heavily traded, with a spread of just over 1p, which is excellent.

I see my prediction a couple of weeks ago of 'soon to hit 12p' has come true today! Its worth? Well if one widget can save a £100k tyre and 2 days opencast mining vehicle downtime, and there are millions/billions of these tyres in use around the world, and the same technology can be used for any other critical overheating sensing, here electrical power transformers ..... its got to be a 10/20-bagger at least. - imho gla.

Just to let you know I also own a few BTG shares from the Biocompatibles takeover. I had Biocompatible for ages! Sounds like BTG is about to go places! gla
