Thats a nightmare Conger2 - unlucky mate - im actually in the opposite position iv a small holding in IAG at moment but im 87% up on my larger holding in RR and im thinking that when it reaches 100% to sell RR and put it all in IAG in the hope of doubling up again on IAG by end of 2024 - but everythings a risk , i still believe in IAG though im sure it will go good in the end

No Monday morning blues in here today i take it :) i had a little fun prediction of £2.99 by new year - looking like being very wrong on that but thats ok -GLA Feb 24 cannot come quick enough - not even confident of a guess of where RR will be by FEB

I know easier to say than do , but facts are that airlines are booming at the moment and recent price drop in oil if sustained also a bonus for future margins, IAG was a good business with good Divis pre covid but shes a big ship and it takes time to turn these monsters around , like i said i know people get frustrated especially when you look at RR but this ship will turn - patience will pay in the end

IAG is a sleeping giant , just like RR (which i hold too) IAG just needs to fully recover from covid , reduce debt and re-instate Divi this will fly just like RR has , buying at this low price if you are patient and have the time will be more than double current price by end of next year im sure , in fact im banking on it GLA

Where is this rumor from may i ask ? any numbers in this rumor ?

Wow city trader i think quite a lot would need to happen to get anywhere near £7 - but i def would love to be proven wrong , but im a little more realistic - £3.50-£4.00 for now GLA

290+ by end of week will do me , no rush :) just wish IAG would pop like RR has and id be getting ready to retire

£3 + is now looking very achieveable before new year and who knows whats gonna happen in Feb - divi re-instated would be the icing on the cake - well done to all LTH who got in at the bargain prices of only 11 months ago

Looks all good to me - profits up , debt down - no mention of divis return and i carnt see anything about the pension shortfall problem ?

Danielh - short term 12 months to significantly reduce debt pile i think is a price worth paying by holders for a good long term return of SP , not everyones cup of tea i admit but id be ok with it as im a LTH

Cut the divi and cut the debt would also help SP
