tony2119 good points well made. According to this page (see above), even the normal dividend yield has now reached 3.3%. I also hold here but have my finger poised over the "buy" button, just can't bring myself to do it because I think it will fall further yet.

OK thanks corlis38, I think there are a few people looking at 135/134 so might wait & see what happens if it gets down to that.

My next buy trigger is at £1.40 although I didn't expect it to get there & don't currently have the funds available. I'm also reluctant to commit ahead of the 11 Dec vote as I'm concerned the SP could continue down until that point. The market hates uncertainty, & the only thing certain about Brexit is the impact will remain uncertain for the foreseeable future. However, I do think this could bounce 25p at any point, so I don't want to miss a good buying opportunity. This will only become a dilemma if it dips below £1.40, so maybe I won't need to find the money.

According to HL, the yield will be 11% in 2019 at the prevailing SP, and as the CEO has re-stated the company's intention to honour the commitments already made (which they can afford) that suggests a re-rate at some point, deal or no deal. People were flapping when this flirted with £1.50, now we're seeing the makings of a recovery based on hard facts. It won't be a smooth ride of course, but price volatility goes with the territory of share ownership. Embrace it, & buy on the drops.

With £1m in the bank at 30th June & cash burn (without exploration costs) of c. £1m p.a. the only thing TRP shareholders will be getting for Christmas is another cash call.

OK, so why have there been c. 35 million shares traded today, most of which are clear buys? We haven't seen that volume since June.

Looking at the volume, my view (for what it's worth) is that there has been money waiting on the sidelines (PI, not II) for this placing. Now it's out of the way, a few more people are having a punt. Expect to see significant selling on 8th November though, might be worth waiting if you're looking for a value top-up.

Nicely summed up calisto, the mid-term results are going to be very interesting. If Trump happens to do well, expect even more tub-thumping. If not, perhaps we'll see a bit more reason. Either way, this can all be put back together by the end of his first term if he wants to carry on. And he will want to carry on...

He's bought plenty of shares in the open market over the years, check the RNS history. In any case, he could have sold more of his shares when this went above £2.00 but chose not to. The market decides the share price, not Pete Redfern. All the builders have been hammered recently, it's been coming & now it's happened. There will be loads of people in the press this weekend saying "I told you so". Well, good luck to them, I hope they enjoy their moment in the sun. Me, I'll be adding more if this goes sub £1.40, as previously stated.

Nobody likes seeing the value of their investments fall, but that's the nature of share ownership. There have been lots of market "sayings" repeated on this site recently, but my favourite is "don't invest what you can't afford to lose". In any case, as someone pointed out earlier, you haven't lost anything if you haven't sold. I hope this works out for you, who knows where the price will be 6 months from now?

According to this site, Redfern is holding 2,489,071 shares here already. That looks like commitment to me. The children seem to be running off home but the adults are still in the room.

Come on guys, chins up. Share prices go up, and they come down, sometimes for reasons we can't fathom. If you've done your research, and are happy that the company you have chosen to invest in is sound, you just have to ride out the storms when they come along. We don't know when the current decline will come to an end, but end it surely will, then we can (hopefully) look forward to a steady rise back to a fair valuation. All subject to continued positive news flow from the company, the wider economic situation etc. - as usual. Good luck all, have a good weekend.

Thanks jerseyjohnnie, think I've got it now. Still makes no sense to me though. Where will Solo invest that has better prospects that HH? Time will tell I guess, & the market seems to think it's positive if only because Solo has monetised some of its investment.
