Yes, spot on Gunthorpe. No live prices or watchlist for free now, and the new service on Shares is not working properly even though I'm paying for it (£9.00 for the first quarter for moneyam users). I've registered on the new site & set up a watchlist in the Stockwatch section. I've logged in this morning & there are issues with the site, it's very slow & not giving live updates like moneyam used to. You'll need to change the Watch List from the "Default Watchlist" to the one you've created yourself, then click the "Go Live" button but it only gives live updates for a couple of seconds before dropping out. Very frustrating, hope they sort it out quickly or they'll be losing their new customers.

Thanks Krone, very informative as usual. Appreciate you taking the time. Interesting to get more insight into the placing, not very encouraging in one way but good in the sense that someone wanted (albeit cheap at the time...) more shares than they had.

belhus - be careful what you wish for! There might be lots of doom & gloom on here (I've had a go at dispelling it but to no avail), but these are the experiences of true long-term holders feeling genuine pain. So they're honest. They're not easy to read, but they're honest. If & when the herd arrives, hopefully next year. this board will be full of "I'm a genius, you're a w&nker", "No, I'M the genius, you're a to$$er", "Hold on to your shares, this is about to blow" and "This is just a P&D, sell now!" & you won't be able to spot a genuine poster for love nor money! Anyway, well done for trying, have a great Xmas & let's hope the New Year brings some serious good news to lift all our spirits.

Sorry to hear that ColdFishPie, no-one likes being forced to sell shares at a loss. I've suffered some pretty hefty losses myself over the years for various reasons. Just hope you're able to make it all back from the half you have left at some point.

£ rising, traders speculating that the Fed will be spooked by The Donald's tweets. Could be volatile ahead of the Fed decision.

My average is 0.53, if it falls below that (& I accept it might) I will think about topping up.

Can I remind you that the sp went to 4.6p based on the results in mice? That's the real reason we're all in here isn't it? Imagine where this could go if there is ANY good news in the SRRA trial? I don't think it's fair to encourage selling at this price by suggesting that there is some kind of urgency in signing a deal when, IMHO, there simply isn't. Let the trials take their natural course & let's see what we've got then in terms of a value proposition. All in my own view of course, accepting that others hold different opinions.

This is still the SAR page right? We've already established that there is unlikely to be any significant news here before the New Year, certainly wrt CHK1. Given that scenario, the nature of shares on the AIM is that the price will drift lower. What we have NOT had is any news re unexpected toxicity or tolerance issues, or unexplained deaths, serious untoward health problems etc. in the trial to date. So no news IS good news at this stage. If you want to get rich quick, can I suggest a trip to Vegas might be more appropriate? Otherwise, patience, patience & buy while the price is low?

A couple of days ago I said on here that a couple of director purchases wouldn't go amiss. Someone had mentioned a while ago that Pete Redfern wasn't putting his hand in his pocket. Well, we've had 3 director buys in the last 3 days, including PR just buying another 3/4 million. If that's not a show of faith, I don't know what is. And before anyone says they're getting them cheap through an employee share scheme, these are shares they've purchased on the open market. Time for a top-up methinks.

Good advice from riolto10, this is a hard business at times. OFAH, if you don't need to sell at this stage, then don't. A loss is only a loss if you sell. If you don't urgently need the funds, sit tight & wait. It's likely to fall further yet (all imho of course), but when the SP drops, that's the time to think about buying, when everyone else is in "woe is me" mode. Then, when everyone is shouting "buy, buy, buy, this is going to £5, £10..." as the price rises, sell some. Just my own opinion, based on some pretty hard knocks over the past 20-odd years. Good luck, whatever you decide to do.

Agreed, but as I've stated on this board before, I've made some pretty disastrous investments on exactly the basis you describe. Believe me, what goes down doesn't always come back up! My TW investment, by contrast, has been very good to me over the years, & my current average is -ive, hence I don't want to **** it up. I have to work out which will be more annoying - putting money in & seeing the price drop further or not topping up & watch it then recover quickly. I guess it's the age-old dilemma that all investors face. I don't care if I top up at the bottom or not, but I don't want to crash the bus again.

Yes, it would have to drop at least another 10% and stay at that lower price for some time. I think, regardless of the outcome of the vote next week, there will be a recovery in the price before long. A couple of director buys would help...

Sunday Times showing TW down to #96 in the FTSE 100. I'm not saying it will drop out but if this decline continues it is a possibility. Would love to top up at this price but every time I think it can't go any lower it does!
