This could explain the short milestone timeframe of the recent deal and the apparent confidence that they can develop the molecule to a marketable stage.

Thoth2 and others have previously highlighted the potential application of 1801 in the context of Sepsis. Given the apparent increased likelihood of sepsis in Covid patients this must also be a major USP for Sareum. So it looks like 1801 has massive potential efficacy in the treatment of pneumonia, sarcoidosis and sepsis!

Thanks Arumel - the interesting thing here is the speed with which they expect to see results I.e. 2 months. Notwithstanding the fact that SDC1801 is preclinical nevertheless the opportunity to get any trials super-fast tracked is clearly there. No doubt Tim, John and Stephen are on this!

One would think that the worldwide effort will be international and if we aren’t already making ourselves known to the US coordinators we should be and pronto!

Hi Potnak, I hope you are right about an RNS next week and if there it will surely not be about Covid grant funding. This is way beyond paltry grant funding and surely with big pharma involved will be very significant funding for extremely rapid progression of SDC1801.
