Thanks Thoth - but wasn’t John very luke warm about the prospect of grant funding saying words to the effect that it was a complex and time consuming process. Wouldn’t we be better if licensing at pace to big pharma with the wherewithal to get research progressed quickly, in the current circumstances given the urgency of the need.

Hi Sadoldgit - interesting post, thanks. Another aspect of this could be SRA737 in that presumably there is nothing to stop Sareum extolling the seemingly massive potential of 737 to Chinese partners. Perhaps the Gilead connection will come to nothing and big Chinese pharma will do a deal with Sierra to on-licence. If the Chinese know and like Sareum’s shop window they could well want to pick up 737 which they know has excellent provenance.

Hi RMM - yes, and I thought the same. Clearly Tim has faith in the Chinese ability to develop Aurora. It will be interesting to see if they are also involved in the TYK2 targets.
