LL, except I read somewhere Johnson's jab only gave 66% efficacy which is similar to Oxford, Pfizer and Moderna after one jab. The key is over 90/95% against hospitalisations after one jab.

Variants Variants Variants is all we hear about on the news. And all we hear about are hybrid imperfect solutions to deal with them. If Covidity does what it says on the tin how can the future be anything but magnificent. it is what the world needs and wants. Would imagine lots of i's and t's to be crossed with lots of people involved. Also with cancer set to be the next big disaster with lack of screening due to pandemic, don't think we are placed too badly there either with hospitals not freed up for trials. With Covidity and Immunobody being on the same platform should be very positive. and of course there is moditope. Feel better now. Yes I check in 7am every day and my heart sinks without the magic red dot but its a question of belief in Lindy and her genius will see us through now with Redmile behind her and a stronger team.

With the current exciting journey we are now on I am looking at it more regularly as are many others. Max it is beyond me that you think making a world wide first Universal Vaccine is such a simple thing. Not just the creation of it but obvious government involvement, coordinating MHRA vaccine fast track, world wide factories and distribution never mind doing the deal with the right partner and all the political rubbish that will come with this. Phase 1 trial is the easy bit and based on SC1B1 will sail through, but without everything in place it would be all pointless. Be interested to hear how you think all the timelines should pan out and how, up to the point to the first jab.

2 months is a long way away for Covidity. I think we would all be disappointed if we had heard nothing by then. What are they looking for in the phase 1 trial. How long does it take to find out what they are looking for. I would imagine it is quite a short time span to check there is no reaction. Different to cancer vaccine phase 1 I assume. Is there too little Covid in UK to test it

Crumbs. My dream scenario is a 5pm Boris press conference announcing the Universal Vaccine with headlines in the papers the next day. What happens to the SP if that happens I have got in contact with the Daily Telegraph journalist who wrote about the Cepi March 1st press release including Scancell. People like that on the ball will only help spread the word when good news hits with the resulting benefits to the SP
