As I have often sprouted on here, I actually believe it will be Boris who will announce the Universal Vaccine. I know it might seem far fetched to some but the politics of this will be really interesting. Just imagine the kudos that if it is the UK who give the world a universall vaccine. This is partly why i am trying to be patient for news on Covidity, as frustrating as it is. I genuinely believe it is not in our control when information will be released.

AB, people need cash for all sorts of reasons and therefore politely would argue that it is their personal circumstance and needs rather than an analysis of the SP that will drive that.

LL. I am pleased to say that there is 79% protection against symptomatic disease and the recent survey says 100% protection against hospitalisations and death. This is the recent US survey of 32000 people. Hope that helps. But yes to get that we need our second doses. Obviously not as good with one dose but from recent UK real life one dose results seem to be doing the business.

UAE deal with government press release mentions Nottingham, Cepi fundraise completing March 31 with press release on March 1st along about Scancell. So to play around for a penny or two at the moment seems pretty silly as the potential upside is so big. . Ivy. Yes I read it. It was a great spot by you. All I was saying that this month it was Nottingham and Scancell that were talked about in the government and Cepi press releases. So with $300m from Cepi by end of March , the UAE fund plus the £1.6bn from our government to contribute to these one can see a route for funding. Boris would love a universal vaccine to be developed here in the current political climate and give it to the world. Cepi has been involved in 5 different vaccines coming to the market with only Curevac having delays. Closing all this out is the challenge for our BOD but the route to something amazing is there

Ivy presume that is part of the £1.6bn Rishi announced in the budget. I also believe UK will contribute to the CEPI fundraise. If it doesn’t happen in this way with all the recent publicity,Cepi article et al something really weird has to happen

regarding Cancer trials, may be you are right. Regarding Covid not in our control. But we have been told a lot over the last few weeks. Clues about Cepi and them raising money for 2nd generation tax, Sunak committing to £1.6bn for cvaccines and CEpi only asking for £300mnby March 31 and UK always actively involved in these projects and a UK universal vaccine ready for trial, Scancell encouraging all the PR a few weeks ago. and the recent patents being filed. If it happens as I think it might, this will go beyond your wildest dreams not even allowing for all our cancer products and trials. Just very happy we have a genius like Lindy who foresaw things most of the world did not well ahead of time.

Ruck we are more likely to get a cancer announcement first. Covid is obviously a political hot potato at the moment and on the basis I believe we will have heavy government involvement if Covidity is going to happen there will be control of when announcements are made. Also lots of other ducks to get in a row regarding speedy MHRA involvement plus global manufacture with the right large pharma partner in place. That seems to be the model for Covid vaccines going forward and without all that in place no real point in saying anything. I genuinely believe it's an all or nothin scenario but am quietly optimistic.

Blockades, trade wars, not enough vaccines, variants, new surges, covid never ending makes the news not a great read at the moment. With this backdrop, in my humble opinion if Covidity starts to go through the stages with the resultant publicity, this share will go silly. Not necessarily because of the fundamentals but the pure human emotion of wanting it all to end. With all the politics going at the moment we will need a strong partner and heavy government support for protection (mafia like) if nothing else. This is still fundamentally a cancer play but Covidity takes us in to a world no-one could have envisaged even 6 months ago, which is after our original announcement. In my humble opinion anything could happen. When I don't know!!!

based on covidity news alone, if/when it comes off at different stages, there will be a lot of publicity therefore more people will know about it, so at each stage there is what it will peak at and what it will settle at. so with lots of new investors in the share there will lots of opportunities to trade. also depends on what cancer news has been released at each point in the cycle and how quickly there is follow up news and how it is communicated and by whom

fair enough. Boris is going there next week So give him something to talk about. Fact remains that the AZ a UK company have licenced Serum to make the vaccine. In a way the is better as it creates an opportunity to sort it.

where did you get the indian information from. we know there is a shortfall of doses but that as I understand it because of a refusal to export. It is a UK company's licence that is allowing Serum to manufacture. Why would they risk that?

Bermuda. totally correct. Seems vaccines are the only answer. US, UK and Israel steaming ahead following a disastrous pandemic and hospitalisations and Deaths falling sharply. Seeing 75,000 at the cricket in India I was wondering if we were being too cautious. 24 hours later, lockdown reintroduced and behind closed doors again. As we all know Europe's deaths are rising again and it is not impossible their death figures will exceed ours which is why I think the government want to delay the enquiry because as they say this is not over until its over. Unfortunately I think the world order will change and I hope UK will end up on the right side.
