1.25m 2 doses. Deliveries are back at much higher levels from today as upgrades in factories we were told about in January are completed. Think they are looking to up to 5m jabs a week in the next couple of weeks. Obviously 2nd jab figures will start moving very quickly as 12 week window comes for the january cohort. But they don't want to do 2nd jabs until 12 weeks, at least for AZ. Pfizer jabs may be given sooner. to give context I am group 6 and am due my 2nd jab beginning of May, and I was about 15m on the list. hope that answers your question. That also explains the easing of lockdown dates. eg May 17 is the big easing which is about 4 weeks after all the first 9 groups will certainly be vaccinated and June is when the first 6 groups have had 2.

Rats. Have you read the AZ/Oxford case study on the Cepi website yet. Never realised how involved they were which explains how the global manufacturing facilities were set up so quickly, Covax, UK government involvement. As I said last night, Rishi’s £1.6bn for the next stage puts UK at front and centre plus being one of the main contributors to Covax. They only want £200mn for the universal vaccine solution. That could be done in days. My latest scenario is too good to be true. Novavax was mentioned the other day. May be it is but may be .....

Because they were so heavily involved in Oxford’s development they already have working relationships with our MHRA, Cobra and our government who have already invested and one of the larger contributors to Covax. None of this does any harm in our potentially perfect alignment
