The potential upside is ridiculous if the trials all go to plan. Culturally and strategically Biontech seems a perfect fit now Lindy is CEO with the history of previous collaborations. All very interesting and exciting as this plays out.

The biggest issue for us Oxford VCT3 shareholders has been Ixaris which is a travel based payments company. It was about to be sold just pre covid and the dividends resulting would have left a vey happy Krafty. It has now been sold for a much lower price, closing July 31st which should lead to a Divi. So Scancell is now really the only game left in town for this VCT. AS its a video presentation I won't bother going. In previous years I had long chats with Lindy, Richard and John which proved very useful. Oxford still hold 1.6% of SCLP and were original shareholders hence the respect they are given by Scancell.

flu can be 20,000 deaths a year despite a big vaccine programme which is 55 a day to put everything in perspective. As a matter of interest I have just been tested positive despite 2 vaccines but its all quite mild with my small increase in temperature down in a couple of days. For sure caught it at Denmark semi final on Wednesday and started feeling off on Saturday, peaking on Monday. I suppose its a question of whether current number of Covid cases still allows NHS to do everything else and catch up and balancing everything with the economy and jobs. Glad its not my call.
