I’d struggle to imagine this being a private investor .
To have this number of shares to sell at this price seems very odd.
Is suspect it’s an old holder, they are supposed to make an an announcement but will they, and if it is my question is why ?
Especially when we are so. Lose to positive news , or are we ?

14m shares in issue but i very much doubt more than 25% in free float, I even suspect less than this.

The large sell dosen`t require a RNS unless its a director. its not above the 3% threshold.

I have to say that with all the positive news of late and very more promising news due up to the AGM, that this sale is very puzzerling, especially if its a director or a person that is close to the company.
it dosen`t bode well at all.

I wonder how much money is needed for the next funding round .

Noah my father wanted an Aston but he’s now just bought a Bentley.
When in a couple of the dealerships there was a small number of different Aston models for sale .
Which considering Aston was only going to supply on the purchase of one and not to make a quantity to be kept in show rooms
So if they were for sale why was this ?
Hence my reason to hang fire on numbers sold per year .
Under current conditions any volume over 7,000 units I think Aston will have done well

I’m not so sure 10,000 units are achievable .
I think Aston will be looking at 6-7,000 I hope they sell more but until latest trading statement at the end of this month we will be guessing

The company does seem to be in a mess . Even the statement the other day brought some relief but it’s back down again.
No funding needed until 2026 but now it seems they may look at any investment.
Why if they are fully funded ?
Stroll appears to be back tracking .
I suppose we will

Your post or information seems a little hard to believe .
The company has £1 billion of debt and is virtually worthless because of this,
Yet someone or some investors are willing to throw $240 billion into the kitty .
Why when it’s not worth much ?
It does seem a little to good to be true for such a vast amount of money
Apparently it’s going to cost $750 billion to re build Ukraine
So Aston is only a third of this amount

Under the conditions today . Any team have to make the right call at the right time.
It’s not that way and you have to have a lot of luck thrown into the melting pot as well
Regarding this year. Aston have gone backwards on the grid compared to last year.
Formula 1 is a very unforgiving arena where millions are spent to gain a fraction of a second.
Look at mercedess total domination this last few years and this year not good. They are slowly getting back but it is slow.
Aston need to up there game a lot as they just don’t seem to be where they was last year

This has taken me by surprise I have to say.
The fundamentals are not very good to read to say the least,
yet invesco increase their holding. !
That is a very bold move and one that will only tell in time.
We still have shooters who also have increased this month, so who is going to be right and who is going to be wrong. ?

One thing is for sure, the company has hinted that investors will be looked at, indicating something wasn’t needed earlier in the year.
I still think it’s a very brave man to hold hear.

I think you have got things mixed up.
The formula1 team has nothing to do with the company, it is a seperate business.
So the £400 million in the bank has nothing to do with the team.
Also the said money was what they had in the bank 3 months ago, and at the time they was burning over £1million a day so there’s a good chance it’s a lot less money in the bank now than what it was back then. !

Yes I get that and I understand your last post.
I was posting on here before stroll took over and I was negative about the company being a going concern.
The share split took place and the share price went up to £22 + to my amazement.
I think it was Carpymick who shot me down so I backed off as the share price indeed shot up.
However my initial thoughts about the company seemed to be correct as it has now drifted down from the highs to where it is now.
I believe the company produces some lovely cars and I very much like them. But looking at the company from a business point of view, I personnely think it is in a mess.
And so anyone that is invested here I think will loose some or all of their investments.
It can not survive and grow without major funding.
Something has to happen, but the shareholders will suffer and I really don’t think you will get a return if you edit 10 years.
I hope I’m proved wrong but I doubt see it
Sorry got the negative thoughts but it seems a for gone conclusion

You are very critical of the negative posts on here and to your own words it’s a 5 years project.
If you’d bought shares at £22 then how long are you going to wait until a return ?
If funding is needed dilution is inevitable, at what amount from today’s prices is anybodies guess.
Even purchasing shares now does not look like a great investment.
Stroll looking for new investers is proof the company is still loosing money and will not be here without new investors. Or investments.
The company was in this position when stroll took over. And now it is back again. That’s a fact for all to see.
If you can’t see this you deserve your losers.
The patient has cancer, stroll came along and stuck a plaster on it but it has still spread.
Major surgery is needed one way or another. !!

The fundamentals are there in the RNS it’s plain to see.

The massive drop in SP from £22 is a stark reminder what the markets think of the business!
It’s not what I think nor CG or any other negative poster on here.
The fact that you don’t like negative posts is an indicator or your poor business acrim

£200 million is not really enough IMO to keep the company going .
£1 billion at least to keep them
Going to at least 2026
Cash burn, debt to pay back,investment in new models, transition from petrol to electric.
£200 million is no where near enough

Providing its true you are reassured that the company prob won’t go bust in the near future, but the value of your money which you put in will not be worth much and will be very much diluted.

How ever you perceive my comment the fact is the company is in a mess, and if the rumour is true. Then it tells me they are still loosing money, otherwise they would be slowly paying off their huge debt. Which seems not, but we will edit and see. Next trading statement around end of July !

I’d say you are correct.
Bowen is with Palantir, has serious connections with very very wealthy clients in the Far East.
Vanessa has huge contacts in the americas and is moving in circles at the very top.
Both of these wouldn’t put their name to a tin pot company.
As for Lyske he has designed and brought this vision a step closer.
No doubt he will be offered something like a million shares if he can get it to £50 or something ridiculous.
And let’s us not forget shearer, everything he has said has happened. The only stumbling block was the huge delay in offloading the lottery and a hiccup in time bringing the new website online.
We just need some taste of what has been achieved so far and how long before we can be fully operational
