The market always seems counter intuitive. I bought & sold Novacyt several times because to me it looked the most likely success story in the pharma world. I timed it badly & lost a few grand. However I more than made it up on Avacta despite believing it more of a risk. I think the point I am making is do have patience, Novacyt sat between £2.50 & £3.50 for ages, now look at it. Burford will come good, I was convinced the US listing would catapult the SP & believe still that it will just a matter of when. Probably when we least expect it.

The bid has I believe bottomed at 14.05 & now On the up again. 14.085 then 14.115 now 14.135

I have therefor sold a % of my 7 year holding in Bushy (140,500, 2 x 100K, 50,350, 4 x 50k & 30k) to facilitate a 12.5k purchase in Burford at 6.03 ( my sells were averaged at just under 12.4). After 1 October I will decide what to do."

Burford's results were announced this morning. The SP yesterday rose from 5.74to 6.25 & today is currently circa 7.20 having reached 7.45 a short time ago

Just for info Burford have now nearly reached £8 this afternoon before dropping back to £7.74 prior to a 3 day suspension of trading. On Monday it will be listed in the US & I am hoping to see it north of £8. I could then realise £100k ( inc £25 k profit). If it goes just a wee bit higher say to £8.60 in will have the funds to buy 1m back in Bushy.

Would be nice to get early & good production figures.

Libero, that’s exactly why I gave the advice to my friend that I did.

Pat that suggestion/offer was in April 2017 & a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then. Indeed I mailed him on the subject some time later to ask what constituted a large shareholding, never to receive a reply.
