It will no doubt affect FTSE, but we all know that US markets have been too hot for too long - Tesla, Amazon etc have all be silly prices - FTSE we dont have these types of companies - we are old school businesses in general - many UK listed entities should be higher and if US collapses, we could see that cash moving onto UK equities in medium term

In the meantime keep some cash as there could be some bargains - CPI should have no effects from USA (but it will in ST) so if I dont get my sells in ST, I am still happy to hold for MT - this is a miuxture of trading cash and LTH cash - either way, Im in profit as I bought back most for a few % less than I sold it - lets see what happens EoD in USA then we worry about UK tmrw!

This is all IMHO, but we know the turnaround is working and profitability is now good - need to finalise the refinance and get that other disposal sorted (circa 200M) and we can all sit back and watch the rise!

Bought some of my 50p sells back today at 48.2p

Seems to be a decent base at 48p but ready with a load of cash if it drops to 46p - market sentiment is the only thing holding it back now - think we wouldve hit 50p again today/tmrw - lets see where general market goes, but always happy to hold CPI at these prices as when we do get that breakthrough, 60p will come pretty quickly then a slower rise to 70p

Glad when you sell Monday then bro - nobody makes you hold

JG - you wouldve thought - but they do work together against the PI - I am sure someone is still accumulating (middle man) and they are working to keep it under 50p (see also the small short)

Unfortunately I had a consulting call with Australia and missed SMs presentation - anything come from it?

JG - No I didnt expect 45p - was just hoping - got my first buy back - 5k at 48.5, have buys in now down to 46p - you never know what will take - all of this is from the 65k sell yesterday at 50p so hoping to pick it all up for less than 49p max

Cane - you are correct that the short is small - but everytime in the last 18mths we have been shorted the SP has fallen - I have halved my LT investment today as a natural hedge - will buy it back at 52p or mid 40s

I am a very big advocate of CPI turnaround and truly believe we will be 60-70p (at least) by November - I just want to see something move here and I still hold approx gbp75k with the other 75k to go back into CPI when I have a clear view as to where we are going in the coming days

Cane - you could very well be correct - but again today, sells are higher than buys yet we are green (now and most of the day)

The range is narrowing - as I say, you may well be correct and volumes did drop considerably, but now we are knocking on the door of 50p - I am sure most of the traders are out and this will have to go above 50p IF there is someone buying in the wings

That may well be what itys worth, but I dont see it higher that 13-16p range for a long while yet - still holding a load and will need to take some of that cash in 8-10p range (for house build) but love this company and the drop to 6p was a wonderful gift - so thanks to all those that sold at those prices!!

Ant - I hope it will be by Wednesday - and volume picking up today may suggest there is news sooner rather than later??

Anyway, lets get that done an then concentrate of achieving the 1350 and clearing the hedge, then get a decent deal for next years hedge and increase output - last call they said cash positive (inc capital works) in Jan 2022 - then we will see this mine flourish IMO

With no good evidence to suggest this so just simply a theory - Not breaking the 50p/52p I believe there maybe someone accumulating in the background either for an existing II or possibly someone new

The range has now gone for day traders to jump in and out (Ive tried and not been successful with hitting my buys) so keeping it below 50p for as long as possible, more PIs will sell an just below 50p as they get bored thinking its not going to cross that threshhold

As I say, this is just a theory but anyone else have a reason 50p hasnt been broken?

agreed - this should never have been below 10p (lowest) I was happy because i filled my boots at 6p

It just needed something to get SP back to a level still being way undervalued - think 12-13p range is fair until next March so buying now, I strongly believe people will still do very well in a short period (although likley drop later today or Monday IMHO)

Staurt said previously that they were struggling to get new funds to buy into the turnaround - this would be great if it was a new fund

I said similar on discord group yesterday - now with sp up 4% on apparent sells greater than buys, I think there is likely more background accumulation.

Anyway, whatever it is, it is nice to see - will we get to / hold 50p today - this would be the third attempt

Really need to see 52p before getting excited - go on Capita, lets hold 50p for now - 47p appears to be the new base (I had buys in at 46p and 45p)

If we hold 52p I will add some from my trading cash
