Inspi - we do not know is a hedge was required for the new money but good practice would be to hedge some

I expect they will hedge a min 35% of expected output during 2022 - but hopefully (unless they get a great price) this maybe in 3/6 mths terms rather than 12 mths

Eeyore - I would suggest the thin freefloat and the fact many LTH are only now getting back to their avg is a big part of the reason - if there is buying pressure (even small pressure) but very few shares available, then it will need to go up - MMs will want to slow the rise to protect the market - but I was very surprised we didnt see 30p end of last week - whatever it finishes this week or month, its still a buying opportunity for me

MM operates 355 days not 312 days, so I would expect annual tonnage to be about 10% higher than your calculations (and therefore SP would be 10% higher also)

Another massive positive for RMM is LD - now we all have thoughts about what it can do, but in valuing RMM it certainly has a very significant positive that I hope we will get news of soon - its too good an asset in current world copper demand, not to command a decent price.

Great to see the sensible posters with proper analysis back on the board - and long my it continue

well you got a profit - been lots of opportunity to do that and will be in the coming 3 mths again IMO (buying in low 30s (20s in late summer 2020!) and selling in 50's) now its buying in mid 40s to sell at close to 60p before we will no doubt get shorted again in early 2022 before FY results in March

2 large buys at 46+ after hours nearly 300k - so either shorts closing or someone is very confident

Anyway, this is buying territory in my mind - keep adding now and sell high 50s in a month if you dont want to wait for 80p

Ditto Cane - I sold half in 50s when MW announced their short - have bought it back (46-48p) so happy to go with them on this -
Its made me a load of money - I first traded it June 2020 - at about these levels!!

End of last year when we hit 50p in Nov and Dec I didnt trade it enough - but its been a very very profitable share for me and I will continue trading it until it gets to 90p - why, because even if you have to hold it a little longer, you will keep making money

Anyway, Dec is still a while away for the update so expect more peeks and troughs before then is my guess

Holding LT (and would hate to be out of it fully as it moves pdq when it goes) about 100k and trading it with about 70k - its just too easy to make money!

Those holding for 44p may get it - I will add more if it gets there - but been happy to keep adding since 48p and below

Anyway, Ive learned not to be worried by the SP here, and go with the flow and not be afraid to take profit and also keep cash for buying

Culley - I think 10 time Earnings would be a great result - expect it to be only 6/7 but as you say, its 3m profit and non core so even if its 20m cash its a step in the right direction

afbouer, I think you are close but I think output will be higher with the new ore sorter and additional stopes open. Also think recovered copper will be slightly higher

Ant - I think the timing of Fridays was to ensure the cash was in the RMM bank AND that they had notified Riverfort (even paid) so no more conversions

The Financials RNS stated that post Bal Sheet event, they had raised the senior debt etc, so although sitting there fore a few days, couldn't be filed until the senior debt RNS filing was done

Both RNS after market in UK but only lunchtime in Tdot on Friday

Probably required confirmation from Riverfort of compliance when full funds were received today hence todays late RNS

Still we dont know who the 3rd party is/was, but I am sure we will find out / work it out in coming weeks

Mid month we should have another shareholder meeting.

Looking fwd to 50p sooner rather than later, but 40p by end of month please

Hope - that isnt really the case - it depends if hostile or friendly

If RMM want to tout the business they will put together a data room and store all necessary documents there for prospective suitors after signing NDA - this forms part of the offer and detailed DD (as you say) is done after an offer is accepted.

But its all DD

I have no doubt that there will be other bigger players looking at RMM with the view to buy when proven profitable

What would surprise me is if they dont get a decent holding first that would be seen by a lot of buying pressure when that happens

I do believe however, that there are likely to be several parties undertaking DD on LD with a view to making an offer for that - either a whole cash or (more likely) a JV.

LD deal could come at any point - an offer for RMM in whole (if one did materialise) would (IMHO) not be before next Spring at the earliest (but would be delighted with one sooner!

It is clear that any copper mines that are profitable are attracting interest from bigger mining companies - the drill results we have been having at MM and the currently being worked upon revised Mining Plan and extended life of the mine, means that we are bound to be of interest to bigger players - however, that does not in itself guarantee an offer, let alone a satisfactory offer that BOD would recommend

DJ - I hope TB has taken on feelings of shareholders that they need to do more in communications

They committed to 1/4ly shareholder meetings and the last was mid Aug so we are due one this month (I have emailed to ask when that will be)

I suspect therefore that they will try and get some additional positive news flowing before that call

As I say (im not sure ) but I dont think they need to RNS that they paid off Riverfort, but it would be a positive to let us know if they have done!

The problem with late Friday great news RNS is that it can get lost and takes more time for investors to come across it

Getting some new good news helps route investors to look at recent RNS

I expect they had plenty of cash on Fridays tranche to settle Riverfort also

lets hope the late RNS Friday was to ensure cash received was part used to clear the Riverfort CLN - not sure they have to RNS that they paid if off, but would be the best thing for shareholders (of which BOD are sizeable)

Maybe Riverfort have converted some (although sales going through today dont look like they would be Riverfort) I just hope RMM used $1M to pay them off and reduce that drain

Still no hint as to who the mysterious "3rd party" was - I expect we will have another few RNS this week or next that will be good news - trading / drilling / hedge or whatever - but good news nevertheless
