We are going around in circles. As I said the company offered a rather vague explanation of their reasoning at the time ("The Company believes that the Alternative Proposal potentially offers a more flexible and attractive solution to its stage 2 financing requirements"). Whatever they really meant and whatever the circumstances surrounding it were at the time. We are not in the position to make any judgements of whether the decision was "right" or "wrong" - we don't have enough information of what was really going on behind the scenes. Whatever the case, the BOD takes collective responsibility for the decision.

I'm not sure that was the case nor we have access to enough information about what really happened in April to be in a position to make an accurate judgement about it. The company offered a rather vague explanation of their reasoning at the time ("The Company believes that the Alternative Proposal potentially offers a more flexible and attractive solution to its stage 2 financing requirements"). More "flexible"? Perhaps. More "attractive"? For who? And how? But leaving the window of uncertainty wide open for months? We are already in mid September and the ST2 funding is still not secured and it is solely because BOD made the decision to pursue that route. Whatever the final outcome, the responsibility is all theirs too.

It would be nice to finally hear some "happy ending" news from Sirius. Enough disappointment over the last months. The whole HY Bond situation is a direct result of the decisions made earlier in the year and announced in April. A very poor one in my personal view, leaving unnecessary window for uncertainty and recently resulting in suspension of proposed offer due to "current market conditions" and a sharp drop in SP last month. We will probably never know the real reasoning behind the change of direction with regards to ST2 funding in April. Maybe they simply didn't have a choice and were forced to accept the "conditional" and "on the best effort basis" offer the effects of which can still be felt today. Maybe it was something else, who knows. This way or the other, time to face the music Mr Fraser & Co - time is really running out now. All eyes on you.

Very true and some valid points Cherokee, there are however potential positives such as, build acceleration, increased MOP and SOP prices and yet more positive agronomy results to name a few, just to give a balanced view :0)

True, and also (perhaps most importantly) - a SENTIMENT. Markets are often unreasonable and If it all goes according to plan, mine gets de-risked & completed, debt reduced, market proven with rising prices it may just raise above any fundamentals-based valuation on expectations alone. Happened many times in the past. Years from now but certainly not impossible.
