They are still involved in golf and other sports - they are trying to diversify to other areas. This can only be a good thing.

Interesting view although this relates to a tie up with Live Nation (a massive USA company) - see the posts on advfn for more information. How can a premium placing be a scam? How can making 500k profit be a scam? How can winning new events this year be a scam? Some of their previous tie ups appear dormant and require updates (Pic TV) but I tend to look forward not back and prepared to give the company the benefit of the doubt - broker target is 8p

The suspension relates to the Singapore business (see further down the RNS) which is causing a negative impact on trading.

I was looking at the share so gutted didn't get in earlier but still a premium placing is good news. Surprised no one else has posted - so far.

Sorry shareholders tend to be positive about the shares they hold - otherwise what's the point? If you don't like the outlook there's pently of other fish in the stockmarket sea gl

I think we are going round in circles here.... why buy in the first place if you only see negatives? Time for you to sell?

Not too worried about the long term as I tend not to hold shares for more than a few months - if Boris is going to make a move I would hope it would be sooner rather than later gl

He only just added a week ago to 8.2% so why on earth would he now start to sell down? The 29.9% shareholder got their shares at £1.30 (I think) so the share price has been over 20p - just not in the last year. Agree with you that Boris (if he makes a bid) will attempt a low ball offer but one thing is certain - if he does, it will be higher than current share price so still a hold at least gla

Are you still holding? The outlook seems positive with the funds being used to allow access to new partnerships. Hopefully the share price will move above the placing price soon gl

Speeding ticket - no reason RNS out

The first RNS is difficult to understand but perhaps there are further updates in the works to justify a premium placing - not complaining though!

Yes it looks like the company will have an indirect/direct 45% stake in new company operating in the Far East and I believe this relates to the Live Nation news the other week. The placing AND open offer is at £ 1.56 ! However before getting too excited - this is after a 1 for 24 share consolidation - so 6.5p. I worked it out that existing shareholders can acquire 1 new share for every 6.66 shares held post consolidation of the share issue on 27th December. So to issue shares at a 18% premium to current share price is a) unusual and b) suggests confidence in the future and more news to come!

Results due this month and perhaps news on the Mall sale... gradually moving back up... gl
