Not chasing these shares today already 4.2p to buy - remember they left it to the last day for posting the results so already historic and six months old. Not sure the increase in revenue/profit for this period. Anyone worked out the exchange rate earnings yet? Well done those who took the risk and got in/back in at the low though.. sold out a while back :-(

Good results - admin expenses up sharply though and still the workign capital warning within the accounts - got a feeling an equity raising is coming gla

Definitely good short term (and maybe long term) buying opportunity. Shame that it seems no AIM share is safe from the occasional placing..

Agree that such an increase in revenue growth is very impressive - US$ 400,000 for the period January to May. However this growth will need to be sustain for 2-3 years before the company could become cash flow positive and that is still a big ask. There will have to be several more equity raisings during this period - but enough material here for both bulls and bears to go on with for months gla

There was the Scoop leak yesterday - just thought a comment might have been made as this was the main reason for the increase yesterday..

Maybe but usually companies just to confirm or squash market rumours. Been a holder here twice and once got caught on a spike hence why perhaps I am a bit more cautious than others here. Looking to get back in but probably missed the boat unless share price falls back I will keep watching for now. The plus points are that cash is circ 1.3p and company has enough for 3 years so little risk and could invest elsewhere plus Puma potential. Risk is that Puma renegotiates debt but terms are not great and no value can still be put in accounts. Maybe I am wrong but at least news likely now before or just after 30th September gla

Good to see an update although nothing to get excited about (yet). I presume this rumour of yesterday is dead now as surely the company would have mentioned a bid approach at the same time? One to watch - little downside as others say.

Doesn't this bit in the report put you off a little? "The Directors have reviewed the investment at 31 December 2012 and note that PHP was in a net liability position of £166.1m as at 31 December 2012 (31 December 2011: net liability position £176.6m) with a net current liability position of £327.7m (31 December 2011: £336.9m). Furthermore, the Company has been informed by PHP that the interest on the preference shares and the bonds will not be paid in the foreseeable future. The 31 December 2012 financial statements are the latest financial information that has been made available to the Company". Best case to me is that someone acquires HCP cheaply to get their hands on Puma by making a low ball offer for the rest of Puma. I just cannot see an quick turnaround - I hope there's a RNS just to clarify matters/rumours gl

I know someone elsewhere claims to have reported the article to the FCA - damm right. Too many rumours going on across AIM - even Share Prophets have got a bad name for itself issuing article after article on QPP - look what's happen to the share price. It's best to wait for an actual RNS from the company - not buy in on a very vague rumour

I don't think you will need to wait long to fnd out. Either the company will confirm an approach or there will be a "no reason" RNS

or both lol! The hotels are valued at nil in the accounts for a reason. Massive debts and liabilities - still there is always a possibility things can turn away but surely a re-structuring might be needed first? Trading your way out of debt takes time - however buying this company out to have access to 49% of a indebted asset might seem like a good idea - to some big company - but it is so risky!

Can you recall which share(s) have been involved with rumours on Scoop before? Sure it was an oil share. Although the story makes sense (if a larger company is prepared to take a massive risk/reward bet) I just question the timing - there is nothing within the accounts new (NAV down) except the piece about ongoing discussions as the deadline is passed...

Up to you - I was going to buy a small amount but will not chase a spike. Just look at the volume - it is not significant. My point - low free float equals sharp movements either way. Unless you are prepared to sit and wait a while - it's just not worth it (trying to make an quick buck) imo

Do some research please - the NAV is 1.3p with the hotels in the accounts at nil (for a reason). The company has just stated they are not planning to change this in the near future - maybe next year but it depends on continued recovery in hotel revenue - the new debt deal - profit after paying interest etc. My point is simple "why would anyone make a bid now? That have had months and months to do so!"

There will be selling because a few got in last week and got caught out when the share price fell on the results. Now a rumour has come out.... strange that...

What has changed here? NOTHING - yet. So a) why make an offer now? b) why leak it? c) why before debt talks are even finish? Also I am sure there's been stories from Scoop in the past that have never materialise - newbies DYOR first before chasing a spike
