RE: Extreme E confirmed for Sky spots12 Jan 2021 12:56
From the latest Extreme E update regarding Sky Sports ......."The racing is set to start in March in Saudi Arabia, followed by Senegal in May, Greenland in August, Brazil in October and finishing in Patagonia in December". ...even their own PR people are getting confused ....what chance we got .....racing now starts in April.
The first race has been moved to a new date .....now starts 2-4 April .... 2 week delay.....https://www.extreme-e.com/en/race-calendar ....have not seen the reasons why .....maybe tomorrow.
ZBT supplied the ammonia cracker for the ALKAMMONI project .....that cracker appeared to be very efficient but used LPG to fire it .....would that be acceptable in the effort for zero emissions ?.....maybe the choice of cracker will be left to BK GULF who are supplying the BoP....from the BK GULF RNS 17th November ..."Under the Agreement, BK Gulf will not only provide investment in time and resources into the value engineering review, but also create a full turn-key solution for the balance of plant which AFC Energy will then assemble alongside fuel cell stacks, power conditioning and control systems"
Not long to wait now Garonne....the 160kW system and Ammonia cracker will be delivered to Acciona sometime soon ....the news flow in the next few months should be awesome ....
RE: Forget $1Bn, let's make it $1.3Bn for Alkamem!9 Jan 2021 13:54
What exactly is "acceleration of alkamem"....will it be similar to the testing of the electrodes ....a set period of time to measure performance and durability .
Date Time Price Quantity Value Jan 7, 2021 14:13:39 78.19p 475,000 £371,405.02 Jan 7, 2021 11:29:58 77.20p 600,000 £463,200.00 Jan 7, 2021 09:59:18 76.93p 200,000 £153,850.00
This is from the ABB news section ......"Utilizing ABB’s energy storage solution and market leading DC electric vehicle fast chargers along with AFC Energy’s zero emission, high efficiency hydrogen fuel cell, the strategic collaboration will deliver a fully autonomous, high power EV charging system, to provide an end-to-end solution for high power charging sites with limited grid connection" ...they highlight delivery of a fully autonomous system ....which is exactly what the VW charging robot is ....and that system will need charging ....looking very interesting.
From what we know Haggismchaggis1...St.Helena was completed in late September ....she was moved to a different basin at Birkenhead dock where she has remained eversince ...the race cars were due to be loaded after the December testing in Spain ...we know the MSP batttery pack has been loaded and AFC have said December delivery of the fuel cell to Extreme E ...that statement has never been changed or amended....so it sounds like we could be getting ready for some Extreme E PR onboard St.Helena...just my own personal view of course.
