Providing the "S " system development goes to plan ...a retrofit would most likely be the first option and be the test mule ....hope they keep us informed on progress as this could be a long wait.

Agreed BumbleB2......So if AB remains silent on the "50".....does that make it a pointless exersise apart from building up shareholder expectations ?

The 50 plus "qualified fuel cell deployment enquiries - the majority of which represent multiple order potential " ...... was mentioned back in April .....that list should have grown significantly since that time.....lets hope AB has not dropped any whilst " juggling many transactions "

In the BK Gulf RNS November 17th 2020 ... They mentions producing bespoke skid mounted solutions .... "BK Gulf will also work alongside AFC Energy in the provision of more bespoke skid mounted solutions where containers are not deemed appropriate for a given use case, building upon the value engineering work expected to be completed over the next couple of months "..... Would they be open plan designed systems ?

Maybe AnneOwl.....but the you need to run 600kW cables through the ship to the motors .....perhaps a Marine Engineer would have an answer .....all part of the thinking process .

They also said in the Half year report June 23rd.... "Preparation for delivery of full prototype high power dense AEM fuel cell by calendar year end " ......did that happen .....did it get sent to Estonia for ABB to approve and demonstrate to the Norwegians .

Hi Lutra .....Yes they did say the " L " series was shipped to Estonia and they also said in the August 16th reach announcement " but plans are already in train for the incorporation of AFC's higher power dense "S" series of fuel cells in future iterations."......so did that happen ? .....did the "S " system get shipped to Estonia.... and what kW size was sent ?.....these are the unknowns i was referring to.

AFC for whatever reason never disclosed what system or systems went to ABB in Estonia ....is it possible that the Norwegians were invited to Estonia to witness the demonstrations conducted by ABB.....something very positive must have happened in that 4 month period of silence .

MACE announcement soon ?....they have said delivery to MACE early 2022.....multiple orders covered .....maybe .

Quite right BumbleB2......The 40kW system was kept very secertive until the formal announcement .

It was announced in the RNS 15th July 2020 that is was the plan to use electrolysis for hydrogen production ....(ii) remote manufacture of "Green Hydrogen" through micro-alkaline water electrolysis powered by the sun; ...That gave AFC plenty of time to aquire and announce a DeNora system and have it ready for the Extreme E launch in April 2021....but they did not have it ready ....so why not ?...it was at the Senegal race in May that the Electrolyser appeared....testing complete.

If we go back to the announcement on the 28th January ....AB said . "AFC Energy will now move to the integration and delivery of Extreme E's upstream green hydrogen fuelling solution which will be delivered to the championship over the forthcoming months " . At the time it was unclear what they actually meant by that statement......We now know it was the solar array and electroliser .....that unit did not arrive until the Senegal race on the 29-30 th May ....where it was filmed being loaded onto St Helena ...so that system had 3-4 months of trials before it was shipped to Senegal.....so it could well be an AFC designed electroliser .
