Thanks chippyjo.....When Extreme E said they will be using HVO Gensets .....i did not imagine they will need 7x 100 KvA sets ...Extreme E will need to order a few Power Towers to replace that set -up.

Thanks for explaining the solar arrray question Alt-muddle......I was not aware AFC used 3 solar array systems .....we know Extreme E use other sources of power .....namely the HVO fueled gen sets and the Zenobe batteries.....so i initally linked those extra solar arrays with Extreme E to help keep the Zenobe batteries topped up .....bit surprised AFC have not been required to supply power for the Extreme E paddack facilities as that had been discussed pre -season .

I think everyone here is aware of that .....so you are saying the proof of concept by ABB is not worthy of an AFC announcement.....and yet the proof of concept of the 160kW "L" system that was going to Acciona was worthy of an RNS .

The 160 kW system that was going to ACCIONA last year with an Ammonia cracker was that not a proof of concept ?.....still got plenty of news announcments

I would say that any significant orders will be subject of prolonged "real world" field trials being succesful......we eagerly await such trials and results from MACE... KELTBRAY... ACCIONA . Question marks must surround the "L" system that is being deployed with Extreme E....feedback from that system would indicate it has been a success.....but there is little evidence of any orders resulting in those trials.....
