This is just my opinion and hope future proves me wrong as own few shares and am a big fan of solomon gold however not sure we will see the share price of two pounds before company is sold which think will happen before 2020.
Pbow - good to read your comments.......if BHP had paid 90p per share or if anybody had blindly bought shares on the basis that BHP is now a shareholder, then fair enough BUT any savvy investor who researches and is not lazy will no doubt come to the conclusion that 45p is a statement of faith and strongly indicates a positive future for SOLG (AS ALWAYS IMHO)
I fail to understand anybody who now believes this is a risky stock to hold or buy under 40p - addicknt said it.......BHP will not overpay for shares and certainly have completed vigorous/exhaustive due diligence IMHO
Good comment waksayama - the only additional comment worth mentioning is the alternative to Trump was also a fuxwit, actually she was the worst choice which says so much about the cesspool of american politics.......UK is just as shocking! The question is 'what true leaders are available for election as once elected will they be able to lead for the true benefit of their nation?"
columbo - I hope all of us can afford to stay invested to reap the rewards of our investment, sometimes common sense has to pay a minor role compared to the financial reality of life. The good news is cannot think of any reason for a long term investor to not be ahead so will be guaranteed profit anyway......
RR - not all of us can play the waiting game (we are both lucky to be able to). Some may need the profits for a wedding, deposit for first house, divorce settlement, children's expenses.......The list is as long as life.
I did use past tense mog999 - I honestly believed last week before today we'd see 40p. Will not be long now and think we are heading for a buy out or take over between 75p-125p. I may be wrong as many of you are of the opinion that our beloved leader won't part with SOLG. BHP is not happy unless their initial investment strategy reaps absolute control IMHO
