Nice one Farruggia - also retired at fifty without ever earning six figures via saving and smart (sometimes aggressive) investment strategies however always with prior research. Apologies for off piste subject matter all.......
Mate - did you retire in the UK? I am between kiwiland and France.......
masonmaster - it is all relative to our own individual net worth. For some, 7k is a week's holiday, for others it is a year's rent, for me it is someplace in the vast middle and am very comfortable with my investment strategy as only invest spare cash.......
Farruggia - I think we are the same age judging by your '1967'
Seven thousand plus profit from a week of holding - great result and have my sell target in place that historically I always set before my purchase so emotional decisions are not controlling my investment strategy. I hope all investors make money and any who bought above 50p averaged down over the last week and are now breathing more easily. My sale target is public knowledge as posted it a couple of times in the interest of transparency, hope the company sees triple figures again but as a simple kiwi who retired early, my balls are too shriveled to wait for those days lol :-)
I am not a ramper or deramper (feel free to see my post history for over ten years) and bought 200,000 shares at 12p last Wednesday because knew that the company will recover as they did last 2012. I made ten times my investment back then but this time will be happy with just doubling (25p) as still a few negative variables which the astute non emotional investor must be aware of. I never give oxygen to waste of time posters who insult others or are obvious rampers/derampers because their caliber of posts suggest an ulterior motive. Please all research, have a safe achievable target and do not be greedy as this is investing not gambling IMHO
I am not trying to be arrogant but it was always due to rebound from 8p, I am doubtful of the 100p target some are spreading around the message board however believed before buying back in last week at 12p that my investment can comfortably double so am very confident of achieving within the next month 25p IMHO
All - the overwhelming majority of us are trying to create money from trading, hopefully it is mostly an enjoyable experience and very few of us actually know each other outside this site so the only common denominator is our financial ambitions. That said, a minority will post pathetic toxic posts which never really succeed as who among us will heed a random stranger's overt deramping dribble coupled with various insults. We shareholders have to various degrees have researched the company, made an informed decision best we can and are assisted by actual links/facts from other helpful posters. May I suggest a zero reply strategy to all individuals with a poisonous provocative covert agenda, no one can thrive with no oxygen so lets not supply any and starve the miscreants of attention. It has always worked for me.......
Just finished mowing my lawn on a beautiful day and came in to read a nice press release - never doubted that offers will be queuing up for part of whole of the business and hope no newbies paid attention to the doom merchants who had personal agendas to create panic.......next week will be busy IMHO
Bode well for today - yes it is my wishful thinking however remain very positive that we will see before the summer holidays 25p IMHO
Just heard the podcast and agree with Andrew
I must stress this is purely my wishful thinking and not at all a forecast based upon any expert knowledge :-)
So let all holders look forward to another strong positive day of trading and a target of 15p.......
We all have he right to our opinion and always welcome any informative post (negative or positive) however pre olympics, I remember last time the company fell to sub 15p. So many doom and gloom merchants of death appeared forecasting the end of TCG, I bought 250,000 shares and sold a year later for ten times my original investment. Bought again today 200,000 at just over 12p because believe the company will survive and we will see the share price hit 25p very quickly which is my sell price for half my investment. This is my personal belief so please DYOR
I am a hew holder today after being out since the last huge fall and rise - my personal opinion is the company will not fail and the share price will rise fairly quickly to 25p IMHO BUT I will say that because am now a shareholder once again.....
200,000 @ 12.0657
Last time the company fell so low, I bought shares sold a year later for ten times the amount so must admit am tempted to do so again.......
Yare - read my previous posts across all boards and please paste one negative comment you find which hints overtly or covertly of deramping, if you cannot will you be honourable enough to apologise? Actually I challenge any poster to do the same and research my many years of history! Finally, a general perceived positive or negative comment posted by a stranger will have no bearing with my financial decisions unless I am weak willed, mentally/emotionally challenged, lazy, or greedy. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH is the first rule of investing.......
