I read this somewhere...Patience and discipline is a virtue that will benefit all traders, keeping emotion and snap judgments in check.Due diligence and quality research should inform your decisions about when to get in and out of trades, and allowing the price to catch up with the fundamentals can take some time. the best investors and traders understand the importance of patience, it is one of the most difficult skills to learn as an investor and trader.
I can also tell you that chemicals, reagents, components have all become much more valuable (due to shortage) in the past few months. So, PCR testings kits (except from the China one) will be in more demand and not just from seasonality...that's not speculation, that's a fact....
IMO, I feel it's a better approach to have on reliabilty and adding the word PRO to it, especially with symptomatic patients really wanting to know what they have.
One day the cheap home test will go (part funding and part for SHlTE reasons) and patients will test their illness with a PRO version at the pharmacy or GP practice....
@ValJu,
Volumes are small with France even smaller......so means nowt.....trying to lever shares from stocky hands.
@Kaeren,
Infection rate increase = variant increase = adaptation = a stronger dominant variant
I've spoken to a few academics and they feel the cure will be more lung protection and focus in stopping the secondary infections, pnuemonia and the cascade of events leading to an overactive autoimmune response of the body.
I get the feeling that the vaccine developers are trying to patch a leak. As soon as they do, another leak (variant) occurs.. and so on and so on. vaccine development takes years and years, look at HIV and still no cure.... the real solution is still possibly years away, which was the normal timescale for this sort of thing.... the most crucial scientific activity at this stage is data collection, especially for understanding Stars and it's variants.... one area that NCYT is heavily invested in.... it will be a multi prong (inc testing) strategy, not just vaccines that will cure us from this virus :-)
the only thing that's used for these Flowflex home tests is the QR code and even those apparently can't be used (or with difficulty) with the NHS app....most positives are declared as negative or the QR code is just used as a negative without even testing.......either way, one thing for sure the real infection rate goes up...the 30k+ figures we see each day is a fraction of what's really going on.....the govt will only respond or change when A&E depts are in melt down (happening already)....the areas for potential for NCYT will be testing in hospitals (inc private), travel and I can see arenas, stadiums or large people capacity environments switching to regulated online type test companies.....pharmacies could do it too.....large factories will need to accomodate some sort of testing facility also....otherwise, they'll have staff shortages due to illness....NCYT will certainly be at max capacity of supply for the foreseable future
I was dismayed to ready that only 5% of UK results are sequenced.....this is rediculous really because NCYT has made it easy for decentralised labs, with their pre-made master mix formulations......anything can be tested with all variants also added to the list....
It's going to be crucial to determine what virus a symptomatic patient will have...now 70% the UK has received a COVID vax along with developed antibody memory for it, people (particularly the vulnerable) are going to be more exposed to FLU/ RSV etc.....So there's no excuse for any world govt, NYCTs multiplex systems can be used in the middle of Africa using no lab and a car battery :-)
Poidster,
There are couple chancers out there, don't let it bother you....plenty of ligit researchers that read your informed posts...keep em coming bud :-)
"......it is clear that no one can explain the current valuation .."
OK sentiment and some people interpretation of it. The traders have an agenda and push the price up and down on a daily weekly basis. One week they ramp, one week the generally deramp.
The longer term holders (sentiment based on research) try and do a little more research and general hold their shares. The low volume tips the price much more easily. The first sentiment big drop came from selling on news with some fomo and the second drop came from the DHSC dispute. Now we're back on the rise again.
What is an example of a sentiment?
The definition of a sentiment is a combination of beliefs and emotions that explains an action.
this will hopefully give a better understanding of sequencing

FUD stands for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt.... Many come on on this board to spread FUD.... There are certainly legitimate fears and doubts that many investors here express e.g. the life of the market, government cheap test procurement....but in NCYT's case, it's more about maybe investing too little too late ;-)
