the volumes are low.....so most people still sat on their hands...maybe the market will respond to an official announcement more regarding the relationship and outcome of the DHSC.....this certainly feels like it's coming to a resolution.
although I still question the quality of border testing and sequencing for all arrivals and departures.... the travel industry is completely on its knees.... travel and general large venue testing should be fixed price and UKAS regulated....if an easy and effective testing strategy is not employed... it will collapse and being double vaxxed is certainly not the answer
I wonder why this one jumped ship to go to NCYT from Yourgene.... better prospects maybe?...I wonder ?

Here's my mandate for school testing and and even larger venue testing.....based on a recent visit to a Nuffield hospital (testing run by Katalyst labs).
On entering the premises a heat scan was taken, if bordeline temperature is observed, a LFT conducted by a trained individual taken....if negative carry on in...if positive a PCR swab taken and patient either isolated or sent home isolated until PCR result confirmation....data collection is crucial....no point testing children (or anyone) at home, too prone to abuse, misuse and confusion....propably why the rates are still high all year tound
You need to remember the mindset of Savid, remember Grenfell towers Sajid Javid repeatedly failed to confirm that ministers would give councils money to retrofit sprinklers in all high-rises, despite the backing for the safety measure from fire chiefs.....he frankly is not bothered....most vaccines are pretty much outdated now anyway, especially for the more recent variants....the whole world somehow needs protection....mortality is extremely low 12 to 15-year-olds and vaccines we now know do not stop or even lower enough spread....sounds financial, as Pfizer will be used on the younger generation and we all know the profit margins on that vaccine :-(
even the low volumes of posting here on this board suggests that people are waiting on the next big news and have done most topics to death, positive or negative.....the big SP changing news will suddenly fall, when most least expect it and propably have deserted this board
IMO religious faith, especially church attendance has done more to spread infection rates.....however I do believe in sentiment based faith in NCYT and happy in my own research that all will come good....certainly within the next couple of qtrs.
all viewpoints are speculative and mostly based on general research which includes anticipation of entering the busiest couple of months ahead......I do my own deeper research which satisfies my investestment further......as mentioned, low volume suggest that sentiment is a 'hold' including feeling on DHSC and also current positive thinking.......when you see the volumes shoot up, that's more indicative on news, good or bad.....
The DHSC topis has been done to death on this board....it remains neutral on the SP, also like with many of the positives Porky has mentioned above....the volumes are low, suggesting a hold by many....it will take something dramatic again to shift it in the right direction...normally a significant breakthough of some kind, T/O or huge US contract etc....NCYTs sales turnover by end of Qtr 1 2022 will make the DHSC cost amount seem like small change....the market wants to see longevity in NCYT or a great cash company purchase...both are inevitable
my view is that certain parties are taking advantage of the low volumes to keep the price down.....NCYT is right up there for sequencing, which will be around for many years to come.....as it is NCYT is a real target for purchase as a very lucrative proposition, especially to a vaccine developer...the DHSC issue would not be an issue in the slightest to a large pharma outfit, as they have payment issues all the time with the DHSC....it's more the product portfolio that they are interested in
yes condolences to any heartfelt people out there.
Because this is a Covid tech stock, I can understand the related COVID mortality data given each day.... NCYT is only one cog in the fight to one day rid us of this dreaded desease.
the low volumes suggest the many are sitting and waiting.... maybe the SP is being played so a T/O offer of £10+ will be jumped at by most.... the value really will lie in IP potential, customers on book and synergy with one of the bigger players... who's to say that convos have not been going on it brings for some time.... one thing for sure, NCYT is at great place strategically, especially with the 2 peak seasons of the year coming up.... I've sat on my hands for over a year now....6 months more won't make any difference
it's from a cohort study.
In a sentence, COVID is 3 times more dangerous than flu, able to escape vaccines (mutates much faster) and kills younger people (mid 50s) ALL year round.
I've had flu and COVID and you can't compare the two.
Condolences to all concerned.
From ONS, of all death occurrences between January and August 2020, there were 48,168 deaths due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) compared with 13,619 deaths due to pneumonia and 394 deaths due to influenza. Also deaths for middle aged 50s is much higher with COVID than flu.The proportion of deaths occurring in care homes due to COVID-19 was almost double the proportion of deaths due to influenza and pneumonia. Also COVID deaths all year round unlike flu. Also, the mutation rate is far higher with COVID than flu making it easier to escape vaccination.
ONS Statistician's comment:
“More than three times as many deaths were recorded between January and August this year where COVID-19 was the underlying cause compared to influenza and pneumonia."
SARs in particular is very prevalent for mutation, especially with no containment and infections allowed to flourish as they are...these mutations escape vaccine protection...The other SFX of vaccines is vaccine antibody memory.....so with re-infection earlier vaccine antibody try and defend against newer stronger variants....the solution will be improved when adjuvants (immunity boosters) are added to vaccines, but these have quite high SFX profiles https://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/concerns/adjuvants.html
Also cell protection especially lung is a route forward....
All the above takes time and sequence data collection is crucial.
although not all cases are the same, hopefully an astute NCYT lawyer could maybe run with this for a better outcome....don't think Ecolog has an open framwork agreement of any kind....maybe this was part of NCYT ADR compromise with the DHSC
it's the rhetoric that's more annoying and a complete waste of time...as long as the positivity or negativity is backed up by proper research or evidence, both stances are OK.....save the personal attacks for the playground, as long a 'zero bullying policy' applies.....
