Aim, how's that punt on Meta @$641 doing? My 2 shares at $650 are showing a loss at the moment, but long term (2 days to you) over the next few months i'll be fine.

My 5 Coin @$300 looking sick also, but same forecast. Sit back from the screen Aim, look further than 'end of day'. Timescale should be few months minimum, preferably several. Otherwise, wouldn't you be better off at BetFred?

Seems like a nice sort, but been through all the Lewis years and now leaving. Just when all his hard work is about to come to fruition and show results. Maybe just feels he wants a new challenge. A few on here who might want to put in an application for his vacancy.....lol

Will be very telling if those traders that want to lock in profits before weekend (by closing) put downward pressure on the SP. A continuation north would be an extremely positive sign in my view. All to play for tomorrow.....

@Adam, something else re dividend reinstatement. I'm pretty sure i'm correct but if a hedge fund takes a short position on a stock, then if they are short at the time the company goes XD, then they are on the hook for that divi amount. Ok, right now, no divi so no payment. But, if AH were to announce a dividend at some point it would perhaps place some closing pressure on the hedge funds.....imho

Thankyou Brian. So it works a bit like a put option. Oasis have basically borrowed the shares for a fixed fee. They own only the contract, not the actual stock. Bank remains owner. So, does this Bank own at least 11% of Capita? This is structured differantly than Staveley's holding?

Any explanation from someone on what Total Return Swap is as compared to straight forward purchase? It's a phrase am not au fait with.....
