The biggest factor for residential applications would be the sheer sizes of relevant units.
The Tesla power wall is convenient for domestic use because their such a respectful size that can be fixed to a wall high level and wouldnt not disrupt people's storage space.
I would have thought a VRFB would utilise a fair bit more space, does anyone know how big they could be for small applications? (Probably around 14kwh per day)

But in the residential sector for the larger scale homes ie farms and larger estates where storage is not an issue then it's a no brainer.
This is where I could see it being a highly used market because properties wont change hands as often as a common detached house. (Would you want to pay for the install with the thought of selling to scale up in the future?)

I think once the VRFB technology is widely known about and built for large residential/ small commercial, also it needs to be marketed very well to sway people away from the Tesla range. (Unfortunately most people are not technically minded and will think Tesla being at the fore front of news, sticking a Tesla badge on anything is all they need to know before parting with cash)

Also we all know how big the PV/solar market will be over the next 20 years.

Well I was very concerned there was going to be another RNS stating financial close end of January.
But news today is a great start to the year, it will be a long way to get back to a 1p but hopefully this is evidence to the market projects can get inked, also the relationship between Phoenix is legit.
The 1st original project in napa that we have already invoiced for design costs, is meant to be contracted for Q1 2020 so hopefully not long to wait for another contract confirmation.

I think the biggest thing here is proof to other investors/contractors that projects are going ahead.

Also with future MOU's the market may react differently now.

I would have expected the SP to increase a bit just before news landed, seems to be the common pattern with aim shares.
