How has this company not received a takeover bid yet? £160m net cash leaves the market cap of circa £100m, undervalued given the secured order book.

Agreed, perhaps bit underwhelming is an understatement. I started looking into HBR from last week to get a first tranche but outlook isn't rosy. A 10% decline in oil and gas prices and free cash flow of £1bn is gone. Unless I am reading this incorrectly, and if so, feel free to correct me.

I don't think YHAL is providing a negative input it; sounds like a balanced view to me. That is the problem when people get too attached to their investments and then greed comes in and then it becomes difficult to be objective. Many companies last year had bids coming in, not all got sold. No idea how it is going to pan out here, we may get a raised bid or the bidder walks out, no one knows. Anyway, the time to close the position is now gone; it's hold and watch.

I have sold half on my position here; there is no guarantee that they will increase offers and may just walk away and then we fall back to 100. On the other hand, there maybe counter offers and this go upto 150, who knows. It is always prudent to take a bit of profit, just my thoughts..

I haven't checked the renumeration details but if it's true that his salary is £500k, that's nothing; perhaps that's why we got Garat as no half decent CEO would have taken up the role under a £mil.

Someone has been buying consistently after hours from last few days; I am hoping there's been a leak of some 'good' news

I looked at the monthly change on top 20 fund holdings; as I suspected none of the major funds have sold anything material except one Hargreave Hale who sold about 2m shares which is less than 1% of the total shares in the company -you would be hard pressed to call it major fund selling. It was more about PIs panic selling. Share price has stabilised and it test the bottom around 76 again, I will top up more.
