The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
isn't great - if the mms want shares they'll have to up the ante me thinks.
Good luck today guys. Can see this being manipulated today (as it was yesterday when the share price dropped from 15 to 11.5p and back up to 14p within an hour) Dont have any top up funds so going have to ride the storms. GLA
Bring on the next two days. Yep that last contracct was for 12 month period so if they can keep chalking up contracts like that the 7.38m market cap will be a thing of the past here's hoping In NPE also so hoping that will have another rise Monday/Tuesday
Cheers mate I am hoping the former too - the story does look good - thanks again for the tip I almost sold out after the mms dropped the price back to 12p thought better to take a smaller profit (been smashed by MTA drop recently although at least I was in at 3.5p LOL) but held firm because of all the posts on here.
Thanks mate so it is possible that othe contracts could have beens igned through the year and not notified. If so that makes me feel better although always the risk no signifcant contracts formed recently. Not long to find out though so worth a punt
I was initially concerned that so feww shares were trading but looking at the trading history these are lucky to trade once a week and today's volume would probalby beat the total volume for the rest of 2010 http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=TNCI.L&a=00&b=1&c=2010&d=05&e=8&f=2010&g=d&z=66&y=66
for the tip Some info to stimulate some discussion. Interestingly Tinci don't seem to always notify the market of new contracts (that one for RMB53.0m signed in January 2009 was notified to the market only in the half yearly report in August 2009) - however maybe they got in trouble for not keeping the market up to date so they issued a statement in Sept 09 when they got the RMB43m contract. So its possible the results will reveal other contracts. They seem to also notify the market for any expected down trends in income/proftitability (as they did in October 2008 after the interim report was made in Sept 2008). There hasn't been any such statement since the results for June 09 were released (although they were fairly down beat in their interim report may not have needed to update the position further) Also NO DILUTION through share placement since listing 4 years ago and NO selldown of any major shareholder that I can find. So they have all stuck with the company through the downturn A whooping 94% of shares not in public hands according to their website with major shareholders (all individuals) holding 69% of shares. http://www.tinciholdings.com/shareholder.htm So thats a free float of only 3.12 million shares trading on AIM of which by my reckoning (LSE and plus) about 647K traded today alone. So if results are good the SP will be pushed up very quickly as not a lot of shares to go around (assuming major shareholders continue to hold). Conversely any bad news could see this tumble back towards 6p (if they make marginal profits) So anyone else have some thoughts? Excuse my ignorance but who is DAN?? DYOR
is obtala taking further stake
Anyone know what thsi means on plus - or isit just stating the obvious?
