With the recent dramatic fall in sp, is another conversion likely to be imminent?

I think another cln conversion is being worked in the background. This NZ acquisition is going to turn out very costly for long term holders. A market cap of £6m is horrendous.

I wonder what the market cap was back in the .3p days, 4 or 5 years ago.

Thats what AB said in a recent proactive interview. Its a huge project that a major will have to takeover.

Ian, AB and his team have worked in the sula region before, and the data they have recorded or have access to would cost half a billion dollars if they were starting from scratch today.

I cant see the psc extension having any significant effect on the sp, but if Finder secure a rig for early 2027 and we are part of the package that should definitely help things. They expect to announce a deal this quarter and it cant come quick enough.

Govt approval from NZ is not expected until August, this will likely have the most positive impact on the sp in the immediate term, but given the dire state of our current valuation, August is looking a long way away.

The loi between sunda energy and finder energy expires on Oct 31, but Finder have indicated they expect to have a rig hired for next year by the end of next month.

Once this is done, drilling dates etc will be confirmed.

The Phillipines seems to be a longer play at the moment but could be the most profitable in the long run.

This definitely seems like a period where investors can top up/average down if they are fortunate enough to be in a position to do so.

The rig hire should be resolved by oct 31, hopefully before that.

Did AB mention drilling in New Zealand in q4 of this year? I was listening in whilst at work, I heard the majority of the interview but Im not sure if I heard that correctly

Reality will kick in unfortunately.

Q1 2027 we have been told is unsuitable for drilling due to the weather conditions, so it will be 12 months from now before the 200 day drilling program begins. It could be q4 2027 before the Chuditch-2 drill starts if Finder Energy do their 3 drills first.

Id imagine it has certainly delayed if not derailed the potential acquisition, yet the recent drawdown would suggest otherwise.

On the other hand you would think there is more of an urgency to get Chuditch-2 drilled, and attract attention from bigger players, and something similar regarding the Phillipines.

You would have to think there is more urgency than ever before in the interests of everyone.

In today's environment, a successful drill at Chuditch-2 and progress at the Phillipines project, would 1.5p-2p be out of the question?

Would we be likely to hear further details early next week? And, is this likely to be a catalyst for funding Chuditch-2 drill?
