In an ideal world we would be announcing our drill results just before a deal on woodside is completed. Hard to know what the next 11 or 12 months brings but I'm thinking a buyout of Sunda has to be an option.

If there is no movement on finance for drilling or rig hire by the end of 2025, id guess an offer has been made.

Sunda Energy did give an estimate of h1 2026 for the new date for drilling at Chuditch-2. I can understand your confusion though slowroll, because Timor Gap said they would "best endeavour" to drill in 2025.

Unfortunately, it looks like Sunda Energy's estimate is the most likely outcome for the rescheduled drill date. But to the best of my knowledge, there has been no statement from either party to clarify an agreed agenda to proceed at Chuditch.

A joint communication from both partners detailing their plans and dates to proceed to drilling at Chuditch should be the minimum that shareholders expect.

The longer the vacuum, the more concerned shareholders will be, in regard to relations between Timor Gap and Sunda Energy after the damaging helicopter incident. The contradictions in their subsequent statements on dates for the new drill definitely signal a breakdown in communication of sorts.

I think the helicopter fiasco has left me a little more sceptical, I'm wondering how strained is the relationship between TG and Sunda Energy.

The fact they have issued 2 different rescheduled drill estimates, no joint statement for agreed progress at Chuditch leaves me a little unsettled.

Granted, one rns can change the outlook dramatically but unfortunately morale, like the sp is low.

I'd be suprised if we hear anything about Chuditch in q3, I think we can assume the Timor Gap expectation of drilling this year isn't going to happen. And the Sunda Energy timeline of May/June next year is more likely.

I'd imagine the Phillipines project, if/when it might start, will be too long term for the majority of current shareholders, but anything that might give the sp a boost on the immediate term would be more than welcome.

I've a 12 month hold expectation also. If we haven't got a rig booked by the end of this year, id be getting concerned. If you look at the Valaris website, their fleet is scheduled for 12-18 months at times, id presume other rig contractors are similar.

Raising finance is another significant obstacle if our efforts over the past 18 months is to go by. Again this will likely have to be arranged before a rig contractor agrees on a specific date for drilling.

In the more immediate term id expect the environmental reports to be delivered soon with positive analysis regarding Chuditch.

That's a very impressive haul cdf1, one of your posts caught my attention yesterday evening, where you said you see this making the drill within 2026.

I was under the impression that Butler had set H1 2026 as a guideline for drilling, has that been extended?

News on Phillipines licence more likely in the immediate term than news from Chuditch. Although there could be some environmental reports from Chuditch to be revealed.

It would depend on how many parties are interested in Chuditch. I'd imagine £50m would be conservative if the drill results are as good as expected. A major factor is what we have to surrender to secure funding or a farm in. Judging by the cln deal, we are not as sought after as we were led to believe.

Until I hear otherwise, I'm assuming June '26 for Chuditch- 2 drill.

I would have presumed they were meeting Filthy. But I feel a joint statement on how they see Chuditch-2 developing in the immediate future would be welcome by all shareholders.

I think if Timor Gap and Sunda Energy could meet in the near future and arrange a detailed, revised and agreed timetable for the Chuditch-2 drill it would be most welcome.

It was bad enough that the helicopter issue scuppered the most recent plan, but for Timor Gap to announce they would be doing their best to drill this year and Sunda Energy say h2 next year was their revised date. It would leave you wondering just how divided are they.

Andy Butler has said h2 for Chuditch drill. If it was early 2026 he would have stated q1 2026. Apparently the weather conditions Jan- May are not favourable, hence the possible 12 month delay.

It's difficult to see what will happen in the near future with Chuditch. Our sp is at an all time low level, we have no funding, I'd assume we are back to square one in sourcing a suitable rig for drilling.

There must be a rift in relations between Timor Gap and Sunda judging by the contradictions in their latest estimated dates they give for drilling. So I'd imagine any news in the immediate term will be Phillipines related.

I'm not expecting to hear too much tomorrow. The bod will be on the defensive, they will have a bit of explaining to do from angry shareholders. I hope I'm wrong but I just can't see were the positive news will come from.

Butler implied all along that funding was accessible, then we had the cln fiasco, the sp is on the floor and he expects us to believe in the interim period there has been renewed interest from other parties in funding Chuditch-2. Where were they 2 months ago?
