Yes, I understood that, maybe I have confused people by saying the Portuguese now have 40% of the stock, I meant that they have this time contributed 40% to the public offer (against 1% last time) ... so they will now have a decent amount of the equity to back up their 2 large compatriot holders who have 20% of the whole company if ever there was a vote for a takeover or buyout, should it ever happen. ... For what it is worth, it at least shows their commitment.

From today's fund raise RNS, for me, the key statement by our Portuguese CEO is:

"As a proud Portuguese myself, and knowing that one of our missions was to reinforce the trust between Savannah and the Portuguese, I am very pleased with the tremendous progress made versus the 2023 Fundraise, when only 1% of the new share capital issued was subscribed for by Portuguese. Now with Portuguese participation having reached more than 40%, we reiterate our commitment of continuing to progress in this aspect."

Now, with the 2 large Portuguese factions maintaining their 20% shareholding of the increased share register, he has confirmed there are now 20% of additional smaller Portuguese investors who will no doubt align themselves to their larger Portuguese compatriots should any buyout or takeover ensue, no mention of Portugal's Govt. sponsoring them, but it is almost certain they have.

In some ways it is good, it means that any more obstacles thrown up by local activists looking for ways to disrupt progress would quickly be removed by the Portuguese Authorities to enable smooth progress to mining the existing "BLP" and any expansion of the adjoining tenements be allowed without delay.

Hope this gives confidence to any new investors who can propel the SP out of its existing circle around 3.5p /4p and towards a stable upper figure.

Also bodes well for when we are eventually in production and our partners, AMG (Critical Metals), could mount another cheap buyout of a prospect (Algamela), using the "BLP" experience to enhance their hold on the "Lithium Triangle" of Boticas and the nearby mines.

In that instance, there would be a change of name for the whole group under their control or major investment, for the eventual sell on to the likes of RTL to work the mines and pay royalties to AMG & SAV partners.

Luckily Savannah Resources are further down the road to have a working lithium mine by 2027 ... but the arguments used here will no doubt be used to try and stop progress.

Yes, I agree IB ... the local, so-called "activists" are no doubt being promoted by "ambulance- chasing-lawyers" who all want a piece of the pie.

The last spanner in the works, when there was an intervention back in January, was quickly quashed and thrown out by the Portuguese Authorities ... expect the same to happen again, as Portugal is desperate to find ways of securing its economy and employment.

All of the long-term benefits the locals will gain, apart from some healthy additions to their bank balances, should surely placate those who may have to suffer some short-term inconvenience.

This article was published in June 2024 and its predictions have proved accurate.

SAV's "BLP" project has the advantage of being easily and cheaply mined, with high-grade lithium feedstock of spodumene in abundant supply, with indications of increased deposits in adjoining tenements recently scoped.

Like the article says, consolidation of the strongest mining companies is inevitable to reduce costs by sharing facilities, transport of feedstock to refineries with eventually the creation of Lithium centralised processing plants to manufacture batteries and meet the increasing battery demand supply chain. To this effect, SAV is well placed in Portugal with their partner AMG Critical Materials, their management team are well versed in M&A to snap up other local miners in the Portuguese Barroso Valley, not forgetting the likes of Rio Tinto Lithium waiting in the wings to take over production once it is a feasible working mine and pay royalties to SAV & Portugal. That would be my exit point as it would have, by then, achieved maximum potential.

The 2 large Portuguese shareholders began building their shareholdings around the time of this publication in June 2024 and have continued to do so in the face of falling Lithium prices ... Why? ... Perhaps they can see that Portugal is critical to our German-financed investment to guarantee cheaper battery supply for their German manufactured EV's, so, with Portugal's Government backing, are determined to create a profitable industry to provide jobs and much-needed income to boost the Portuguese economy.

It seems the Portuguese have now been satisfied with their mopping up of shares operation in the 4.3p to 4.4p range ... there were no mega buys (in the millions) of shares recorded in black type last week, so we now await the TR-1 RNS to appear, confirmation of their increased holdings, probably next week.

Hopefully, the stranglehold on the SP will now be released by those MM's who have been manipulating the true share price downwards to facilitate the Portuguese buying orders. .... So, I am expecting and looking forward to a rise by the end of the month (deep breath held).

An update on SAV's website should inform us of the current freely available float and if any of the substantial holders have diluted their holdings by transferring stock to the Portuguese.

Once they have enough stock and can attract support from other large shareholders, I expect the fun and games to begin from the Portuguese (with Govt. backing). Prior to the DFS and JORC results being confirmed, the value of the "BLP" will surely be lower than when increased tonnage and life of mine is finally revealed, with high-grade deposits at easily mineable depths.

I expect our biggest shareholders and partners (AMG Critical Materials) to continue to make acquisitions in the Lithium rich Barroso Valley to match their M&A so far ... this could lead to further upgrading of the network of roads to transport the feedstock and possibly make it viable for a rail link to the main system that would also benefit the local communities. Plenty of opportunities for "hand-in-hand" partnerships with the Portuguese people and Government.

I expect their (Portugal Resident) copy was taken from elsewhere in Portugal when published in Portuguese ... PR is mainly for the English speaking ex-pat community.

A raft of good news and upgraded results should kick start a rise on here ... but I won't hold my breath.

A recent article in "Portugal Resident" publication, dated 3rd May 2025 and from what I can see was not picked up on here, could be responsible for the recent drop back in SP.

We know there is a worldwide clamour to find cheap Lithium and other "strategically valued metals" to power the burgeoning Electric Vehicles markets, but as has been reported, Savannah Resources is best placed in Portugal to provide the feedstock to local and European refineries that will more than satisfy the current demand and that of the future (once mineral deposits at "BLP" are confirmed).

My prediction of the future progress at BLP, providing there are no hold ups:

Late 2025 ... ratification of the upgraded DFS and JORC studies

2026 ... start of infrastructure to enable the mine(s) to begin operation, including access roads and buying in machinery

2027 ... First production of feedstock

2030 ... All mines are in full production and BLP is a valuable asset to Portugal's economy

Thereafter, SAV's job is done and they will be seeking an exit strategy to sell the mine to the likes of Rio Tinto Lithium (who may operate it on a leasing basis from Portugal's Government) with royalty rights retained by SAV for a lucrative, non-involved, income stream.

Job done .... Management richly rewarded .... Shareholders happy!

YTB, if you were to read the RNS's you will see that the Directors are not taking salaries and are relying on the SP reaching the striking points, of firstly 2.6p and later 10p before they take up generous options to see any fair reward.

How are we still below 1.0p when other AI shares are booming on promises of future growth and potential. Most are still in the exploratory phase, they may have targets and promising recruits to their stables, but they do not have an income stream and will need huge cash calls to advance their prospects and achieve their goals.

Whereas, MFAI has a portfolio of companies under its wing, they are in association with Sure Ventures, fellow venture capitalists, to advance the potential of these start-ups and fast maturing AI powered enterprises, some of which have already proved their worth with residual funds coming our way, making us cash rich and viable to expand further. Therefore, our NAV will continue to rise exponentially, so it should eventually feed through to a matching SP and Mcap far in excess of the current sub 1.0p to allow those lucky Directors to exercise their share options around 2.6p and up to 10p in the near future.

What is holding us back?

I have just had a run- through of all the large late "Unknown" share trades for the past week. I have presumed they are all buys.

Most were traded at 4.35p (or an average of 4.30p to 4.40), some were duplicated(same time/date), some were cancelled (in red).

They total approximately 10.3m shares at 4.35p for around £448 - £450k invested over the week.

So, we can assume these were bought to fulfill an order for the Portuguese (2 factions) for £10m+ shares at 4.35p to enhance their current holdings and increase their combined stake to nearer 25% of the company.

I think we can expect an RNS -TR1 soon to confirm the above and any previous trades that have been made since the last RNS notification.

It seems to confirm the market is being manipulated by one or two MM's to satisfy contracts they have to increase the Portuguese shareholder's stake by buying up whenever there is available stock in the free market at a given price (4.35p), so is keeping the SP to stop rising until their targets are reached.

I also suspect the 2 big Portuguese buyers are being sponsored by the Portuguese Govt. to guard against and restrict full ownership of SAV's "Barosso Lithium Project" to eventually take it into National Ownership once in production.

My bet is that AMG will make a bid for the nearby (to SAV's "BLP") Lusorecursos “Romano” Mine in the Alto Barroso region. Barroso is a region in the north of Portugal, mainly mountainous and occupying the Barrosão plateau, located northwest of the district of Vila Real in the province of Trás-os-Montes, comprising the municipalities of Montalegre and Boticas. Both municipalities are part of the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Tâmega. “Romano” Mine is in the municipality of Montalegre.

The plans here are for surface and underground mining of Lithium bearing feedstock, with a planned onsite refinery, but their ambitious mining schedule to be in production by 2027 seems to have been delayed by Local Government intervention and some skulduggery over tenement acquisitions.

This would represent an ideal triangle of 3 lithium mines within a 50km radius, with onsite facilities that could be shared, this could only benefit SAV and their partner AMG to secure the rights over the rich spodumene pegmatite deposits, with the funding underwritten by the German authorities to secure the mineral rights for many years to come.

Grupo Lusiaves SGPS S.A. have now increased their shareholding to 218,785,909 shares, which represents 10.069427% of the shares in issue.

So they are still accumulating shares on the open market, unless, one or more, of the other large holders are swapping shares with them which would require a TR-1 RNS to announce their reduction in holdings.

The (known) Portuguese now have over 20% of the company.

Venture Capitalist companies like Midflair and Sure Ventures would not pay dividends or make share buyback offers, any windfalls would be added to their war chests to further enhance their portfolios with new promising investments.

This would only add to the Mcap of both companies with eventually increased SP's and rewards to their directors and investors.

Patience will be of value once the funds and prospects are realised.

Despite recent confirmation by the EC and their ECM support for mining Lithium in Portugal, the activists and left wing Poiticians are still campaigning to ban mining and are using their arguments in the run-up to the forthcoming elections..

This could be the reason the SP has fallen back recently, but I am confident that the majority will welcome the recent EC announcement to provide jobs and prosperity for the localities ....whereas the activists claim it to be misleading propaganda (probably led by those who will not benefit).
