Sheikh Ahmed .... & Co.15 Apr 2019 11:22
Estimated net worth $38billion (2018)
CEO of Emirates Group, World's largest International Airline
Sponsors of Arsenal Football club.
His £500k investment is pocket money for the Sheikh, but brings kudos and raises the profile of MXO to encourage other high roller investors to come aboard.
He is, like his brothers and family (Godolphin), are big players in horseracing and bloodstock worldwide, he has 2 runners (in his own name) in each of this year's Derby & Oaks... and has plenty in common with Dr. Johnny Hon, another avid racehorse owner, it would not surprise me that it was he who introduced The Sheikh to MXO to placate the Chinese shareholders.
From the RNS:
"The directors of the Company recognise that, following the issue of the Placing Shares, the number of shares in issue is significant and it is the Board's intention to propose consolidating the share capital of the Company at a general meeting. The directors are also considering renaming the Company and making further appointments to the board to help the company achieve its goals. A further announcement will be made in due course"
So we can expect a 1 for 1,000 consolidation of the 4,471,349,664 shares in circulation (inc. new shares), with a price of circa 60p depending how the market reacts.
With the board's previous approval of diversification into other investments (Superdialectrics Ltd for one), can we expect investment in Arsenal FC and a string of racehorses, together with the incorporation of Stefan's new venture (Naturi Vita Ltd), into the recently legalised Cannabis & CBD Oil preparations market and distribution, under the new encompassing company name? ... Renamed a Holding Group and a move to the main market to achieve maximum exposure to the Institutions.
Superdialectrics Ltd is involved with Rolls Royce Aero, Airbus & Siemens in revolutionary electrical powered aircraft development ... something very close to The Sheikh's heart and business enterprise.
Stefan's perks are probably free tickets to every Arsenal home match and complimentary 1st Class travel on Emirates Airlines.
