Hi All, Re Saga Cruises, I just priced 14 nights ex Dover to Scandinavia in May.

Balcony cabin, just under £6k per person.

AIC, pick up from home/return, 4 excursions included. Travel insurance included or an £87 pp reduction in price. Still plenty of space. K

IWHF, We did that in 2023.

This year we did the 35 nights round trip on Iona and were very impressed. The food, crew and ents were great. Iona had never been out of European waters before so the crew were "pumped" and P&O really upped their game.

We have looked at Saga but though it was rather expensive. We have neighbours who sail with them but they are such miserable people, I'd hate to meet their type. K

I've bought and sold CCL since 2011 and it has done me well but since the Covid pause it has been my most frustrating Stock.

Is it a buying opportunity ? With the Trump created uncertainty and no prospect of dividends, I think not.

Bhants, I noticed on our recent Caribbean crossing that many of our fellow passenger wore those hearing aids, attached to their specs. Presumably at night they don't wear them, it makes you think what would happen if something serious came over the cabin pa system. K

Met1 has rolled back a bit after additional share issue and consolidation and no doubt some profit taking. Still looking good for GUN. K

Word from Finland is that the Hammaslahti purchase is a great move for Met1. K

Like many new miners around the World, Met 1 are acquiring more redundant workings in areas that have formerly been productive.

As technology advances and prices rise the potential to resurrect these assets is worth a modest punt in my opinion. K
