The strategy seems to be buying assets in redundant formerly productive mining areas.

They hope modern technology will make it cheaper to locate and find minerals etc.

This latest bolt on is small money. €90000 but for a business with " potential " we've heard

Met 1 assets in Norway & Finland are both just over the border to Mad Vlad's Russia.

I was wondering if this has had any influence on acquiring the North American projects.

My neighbour is in Portugal/Spain on biz, back Sunday.

I see P&O have been cancelling several cruises for 26/27 on Ventura & Arvia. Quite a little of upset folks commenting on the forums.

We like the Arvia, so many dining options. K

Topo ,Problem is Carnival ships are registered in the Bahamas or Panama and crewed by a variety of nationalities. If he wants to bring it home the operating costs will spiral. K

If you need a cautionary tale re developing miners, take a look at Premier African Minerals (PREM) Great assets and take off partner in place but skint. Machinery in place ( mostly) but no funds to commence operations. Its been years development but hindered by crap management. K

This company is basically re exploring old redundant mines or land close to former productive mines. They hope new technology and higher prices will make exploration easier and quicker to profitability.

It's a risk, like any mining project but worth a hold, I believe.

I plan to be up in that part of of Finland in the Summer and I don't expect much to happen in the interim as the place is a quagmire after the snow melt so difficult to move heavy equipment. K

Park, I believe it only refers to the marketing team for Carnival Cruises. P&O etc not affected. K
