P&O must be flush, they've given all cabins an additional £200 OBC for our Arvia cruise on 11th March. With shareholder benefit that's £1210 !
Would prefer £10 SP or quarterly dividends but neither on the horizon it seems. K

P&O, Iona and Arvia might be more to your taste.

I travelled 150 days a year globally on biz, usually flying upfront.
When I retired, had used up all the air miles and had to pay for myself and sit at the back we started cruising. Haven't flown in over 5 years but will do in 2 weeks, Virgin ex LHR to Antigua to join P&O Arvia, sailing back to Southampton. Mrs E is struggling with the limited luggage allowance for the flight but she won't agree 4 pairs of boxers will do me for 22 nights lol. K

Good point Mera. Some of those rammed ships would be filled by passengers using up FCC from cancelled cruises in Covid, so not new fare revenue in many cases. This must be coming to an end soon so they should start generating cash, hopefully enough to cover the interest and keep sailing to profits one day. K

Aangus1 Drinks packages didn't exist then, just wine packages but they did lots of promotions like 2 for 1 etc. In those days (2017) you could bring booze on in every port and they also allowed duty free bottles of spirits bought from onboard shop for cabin consumption. Cheers K

Mostly Al. We lost a whole day when we crossed the International Dateline, that's the day we went booze free. Lol K

We did 114 nights in a feet first cabin on Arcadia.
Balcony cabin B32, high and forward. Never thought about until it was mentioned here, biggest problem was remembering which day it was. K

Personally, I prefer Port but next month chose Starboard as we are travelling back to Southampton from the Caribbean. K

Bhants, Ambassador is the reincarnation of the failed CMV , it sails out of Tilbury. They have two old ships, one is currently used to house asylum seekers up in Scotland. A neighbour of mine tried them but never again he said. K
