I completely agree with you. I’m very confident of the business reaching FID. it’s not in doubt. It’ll be an enormous achievement. I’ve been here since 2022 at £1.22 and £0.29 SP. I’ve built up over 206,000 shares now. I really believe in the business and haven’t ever wavered.

That said, I’d be very happy to see Peter relinquish some of his control after FID. 25% of the business with a single shareholder isn’t healthy going forward and I hope he recognises that as the business moves to development phase it needs stronger governance. It’s not about Risk taking anymore, it’s about solid delivery on time and in budget.

Confidence is important. It’s a shame that Atome’s leadership continue to over promise and under deliver. Don’t get me wrong, I’m 100% certain that FID is very close, and that once delivered will have a really positive impact on share value. My point is that we hang a weight around the neck of the share price is investors cannot trust the delivery promises made by the board. We have a 38 month build window after FID… but do we really? Is it 38 or 48? It makes a difference…. We need the board to be much more realistic in their disclosures. They would have been better by far not placing such deadlines on this all the time. We all understand the challenge, and the achievements being made. Institutional investment that will be needed will need to be able trust the timelines promised as reliable before committing fully for their own shareholders money.

I think it’s coming. Atome regularly release RNS on a Friday. In this case if it’s the FID it could make sense….. hear me out…

We have a tiny available float, retail owners have a significant % of the available shares locked up and not selling. We know this is only going up, so we won’t sell early.

A Friday RNS means only one day trading before the weekend, enabling institutional investors to get their act together before the price spikes too much. Scarcity of available shares is going to drive this up…. Potentially significantly up!!

A Friday RNS means that they keep a lid on this by not enabling multi day trading where MM’s need to chase the price to satisfy orders…. That’s my theory here

I agree. Thursday after EGM approval feels most likely. Although, I read the agenda for Monday and the Casale presentation seems to suggest that work is already underway, so maybe Monday morning is also possible.

Can’t tell you how nervously excited I am about next week. There have been many times over the last 18 months when I’ve really had to convince myself. You know when it was down at £0.30p and you’re looking at losing it all, it takes massive self discipline. Keeping everything crossed for you too, next week.

I was hoping we may have seen RNS today as well. I suspect now that the EGM is an approval milestone and RNS towards end of next week now.

Very encouraging, volume today is back at around nomal average after 3/4 days of multiple x average. Price is steady as a rock right now. We’re just waiting to hear now about FID. surely RNS in next few days, perhaps even tomorrow ahead of 26th.

I agree. The 20% free carry on it's own brings us to the lower end of that estimate, without factoring in the FID impact, and most importantly of all..... scarcity of float!!

I had a challenge to purchase £5k shares earlier. Had to split to 3 transactions. I'm guessing due to availability

That’s definitely a risk, huge spread on this says the market doesn’t know which way to jump. Trying to be optimistic 😊

Also delighted, but I don’t expect such a good day. I’ll be very happy if this closes around £0.70-0.75 though. I think yesterday was a bit of an exception. 11x average volume on no real news. No RNS today, and volume seems a bit more muted, although still good. I hope we consolidate, fill any gaps and maybe touch £0.80 by next weekend.

Wow… well, daily volume is 8.5x average today. Amazing, on zero official news. If they do RNS tomorrow it could be fun

Me like £0.51 is long gone, so I’d say this is likely up 2p so far on the day. No one expects this to hit heights until after FID. today was another very positive step towards that. Albeit that it’s not yet fully without risk.

Haha… well Chromo, most recent RNS have been on a Friday… question is, do they get this done this year or in January??

I’ll take a punt on 16th January. (Although 19th Dec would be nice way to enter Christmas)
