I agree. Great article…. But more generally Atome is one of few beneficiaries of the Iran conflict. The urgency now to find alternative sources of energy in food production (Fertilizer) is a global priority. FID soon for Villeta, I hope it also helps accelerate the drive for Yguazu FEED and who knows what else in the foreseeable future.

Absolutely no volume today. Seems that institutional buying requires FID and retail has a limited ability to move the SP.

No one is selling (expected) so I suspect we’ll see a gradual creeping upwards, but no shocks until FID is announced.

Probably some movement early April pre & post ISA deadline.

Feeling very relaxed about it all though, Olivier’s interview today was terrific and the headlines on Linked in from the finance institutions is really positive. I spoke briefly to Charles Archer on X and he’s waiting on a response from Atome about an interview and subsequent blog recommendation

I’d go as far as to say that my “bet” has been made on the political good will more than the company. I think PL & Olivier are absolute genius…. They chose a route which would have enormous political willingness to get this over the line. Paraguay has been the most perfect location for this.

Haha, I was here for that change of direction!! 2022… I’d just invested about £5k in November 2022 & they began to pull the plug!! “We’re in a Joint Venture, creating the National Ammonia Corporation … we’re a Fertilizer company!!” Not explicitly, but gradually that was definitely the line of travel.

As it’s moved I must say I was convinced they’d made the right choice. The appetite for carbon free was definitely there and I always felt that the fertilizer would have political support, more so than the fuel. Battery power was the direction for vehicle production. I’m so glad I kept the money in.

Here I am, over 240,000 shares now…. I’ve never sold since Nov 2022, It became a battle against my average… which sits handily now at £0.6104.

Roll on FID. I’m here for it. I’m here for 2030/31 at least.

Completely agree!! Similarly I’m in deep here. Waiting for the ISA window now, hopefully get some at £0.75 before FID.

@Grundles you’ve arrived just in time. Project 1 (Villeta) has just seen debt financing approved, they are now committed to delivery of Equity (and FID) within 30 days (Apr 14).

FID is expected to present a major re-rating estimates from £1.10 to £1.60.

2 other in flight projects….. Yganzu Hydrogen Fertilizer 2x scale of project 1. They are currently early stages, probably expect FEED mid 2027, and FID perhaps 12-18 month after. (optimistic view)

Project 2 - Atome Power - complimentary Solar Power project also at early stages. Expect similar timeline to Yganzu.

Back to Villeta, 36-38 month build development, so production will be 2029 (Autumn) most likely.

Market capital is less than 30 million so to increase their free carry on equity a dilution of almost the entire company value to make any material difference. It’s just a garbage comment from Steven49.

Typical price movement from MM’s accumulating shares to ensure they have a supply after a major event like FID. The float here is tiny, volumes are really small. MM’s are taking advantage of any weak hands and Stop Loss settings.

All the signals are that FID will happen. Maybe a little delay, but they are employing a site manager FFS!!

In actual fact, I was researching this and seems a lot of institutional buyers are comfortable with a large share of company in CEO hands. It brings a certainty, and locks a lot of the float which means no great swings in value.

So, very happy to say that my criticism / scepticism was probably completely unwarranted.
