post 2008 funds did close, but not this year. in fact there is a record number of new funds raising new cash to invest.

actually convertible bond issuance is at a high since 2008 (crash)
funds are buying stuff.
we have seen no hedge fund client close or return cash to investors this year.

the bod didn't buy at market price, they gave themselves and their mates a 25%+ discount!
