The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hi Rod 06:49,
The slide of the 88e acreage be very much down slope from PANR is potentially a bonus too.
Glad you spotted that too. I was looking at that with blurry vison on my phone at 02:30 this morning & thinking, oil doesn't flow up hill & could really do with a look at another 3D seismic slide further down dip.
Just sooooooooooooooo much to be Positive about this morning & gladly, good old AIM is reflecting that.

In a nutshell ii, we ran out of time. Nothing more, nothing less. When Joe Biden called a halt, in late January, we were struggling against the clock, to achieve what we had intended to achieve. 2 Drills & One Flow Test.
What we achieved & took away from the drill was excellent. We have since had great news regarding Charlie 1 at Icewine by our data being further substantiated by the latest results from Pantheon.
We just gotta sit tight my friend.

Hi Mandy, Welcome to the 88e Pleasure Dome.
The Board also wishes to advise shareholders that Mr. David Wall has tendered his resignation as Managing Director and will leave the Company in May 2021. Mr. Wall will continue in his role and oversee the upcoming drilling and testing programme at Project Peregrine as well as the abandonment operations at the Umiat Oil Field.
Let’s not forget our 88e Company Strategy.
The company’s goal is to build a successful exploration and production company that delivers material benefits to its shareholders and contributes to the development of the regions in which it works.
It aims to achieve this by targeting overlooked or emerging play types where its small team of experts can move quickly to capitalise on opportunities prior to larger industry players moving in.
The opportunities the company will seek will be based on robust technical evaluation together with informed socio-political decisions and cultural sensitivity in business relationships.
When will DW officially leave? – Quite possibly the Annual General Meeting of 88 Energy Limited to be held on 21 May 2021 at 10:00am will be Dave Wall’s last day with the company. Just IMHO.
I think that would be a fitting end & I believe he should be proud of where this company is situated, at the end of his tenure.
Good Luck DW & All 88e Shareholders.

Unanswered Questions
It is not in his DNA to walk away from this baby of his, he & Team 88e have given it the best crack that they can, because that is how he operates & because no results from Peregrine have been published as yet, the market does its deed & does what it does & the SP tapers away, on NO NEWS.
What it hasn’t done, is to Nose Dive back to the levels we saw after Charlie 1 last year when, on April 9th on a volume of 1.3 billion shares we hit the deck at 0.25p & have continued to dredge along the bottom until the end of February this year.
I believe the update we are all eagerly awaiting is going to be substantially more than an update regarding the Merlin logging analysis results.
We may yet see the Transformational changes to this company that DW has spoken about, not so long ago.
Hold your nerve.
As Usual, Good Luck to All & Roll on Sunday Night…………………..Again

Part of the Bigger Picture
Pantheon is scheduled to flow test Talitha-A over multiple horizons after receiving encouraging lot results.
Importantly, several of prospective horizons in Talitha-A are interpreted to extend into 88 Energy’s acreage as shown above.
It is worth noting comments by Jay Cheatham, Pantheon’s chief executive who said, "We've often said that any one of the four zones at Talitha could be company makers, and we have three contenders in the SMD, Basin Floor Fan and Kuparuk, all of which show great promise.’’
‘’We were pleasantly surprised in the Basin Floor Fan and Kuparuk formations.
‘’The Kuparuk Formation is a major regional producer in the north legacy portion of the North Slope.
‘’If successful, the extension of this prolific producer to the southern areas not only opens up a potentially large oil accumulation for Pantheon but also opportunities for the industry in general."
Should Pantheon experience success with Talitha-A it could also be a game changer for 88 Energy as it should increase the value of the group’s territory at Project Icewine, as well as making it more attractive to potential joint venture partners with a view to sharing exploration costs in the future.

No More than 7 Days from not Having a Drilling Window, this Season.
North Slope project held up for eight days.
Read the whole article here: https://www.adn.com/business-economy/energy/2021/01/31/president-biden-is-swiftly-reining-in-oil-drilling-to-protect-the-climate-will-the-transition-leave-alaska-behind/
The Interior Department order led to a delay, for eight days, of work at Project Peregrine in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska, managers with the project said.
Cruz Construction had approval to build the ice pad before the order was issued, said Dave Cruz, owner of the company.
But the order raised uncertainty about when the federal government would issue a permit to drill, Cruz said.
Australia-based 88 Energy was forced to put the project on hold, he said.
Fifty workers waiting to build the ice-pad project were suddenly put on standby, along with the drilling contractor and other support companies, Cruz said. The North Slope drilling season ends in April, raising concerns that the whole season could be lost, he said.
We started late & could afford no errors or slip ups. We were actually, really fortunate to be drilling at all this season.
Still Holding, Good Luck to One & All.

8:43,
Tony, perhaps & this is a big PERHAPS, our RNS authors have waited & quite rightly so for the PANR AGM yesterday which IMO, divulged much more positive data than the previous days' RNS.
Facts, slides & most of all BIG digits.
Too late, I would think to get an exciting, well scripted update out in time for ASX last night.
We wait with bated breath.

Is this just Alaska?
Pantheon Resources (AIM:PANR) is an oil and gas exploration company with a portfolio of high impact projects located onshore USA, on the Alaska North Slope. Pantheon has a 100% working interest in all its projects, which span approximately 160,000 acres. Pantheon additionally has 3D seismic of covering 1,000 square miles over and around it’s acreage.
Are you reading this bit....Over $250m and 10 years of work has been invested in the assets to dat e.
>>>>>> 88e, our baby, has only been in Alaska for 5 years & spent a fraction of the $250m above. I drill per season.
C'mon RNS Tonight perhaps?

Lets see what happens after their AGM. I just get the feeling our SP is being slowly wound back like a coiled spring waiting for our next RNS.
Scared & Excited in the same moment. Is that possible?
Tell you what though, never, ever, spent so long in front of this laptop of mine just watching charts twitching, greens & reds & reading other peoples' opinions on here or HC.
I need a break, don't know about everyone else. This is becoming just manic.
Hey Ho.

They have slightly greater than 200,000 acres in Alaska Tony, plus a few more in Texas.
Thinking we have in excess of 300k acres, which was over 400k until recently.
We still haven't seen much flowing all though!
But hey, what's a few acres between good friends.
They JV'd with us on the Winx project a few years back.
But that is just another episode in the 88e soap opera.

Hi,
we have had more than our fair share on downsides over the years but many of us are still here. Concerned at the magnitude of the drop at POW, that was major.
Tongue in Cheek, Jonah,
Would you mind if I asked you NOT to buy any 88e at this bargain basement SP

Good Morning All,
This latest RNS tells us nothing we don’t already know. So why should we expect any improvement in SP? No sensitive information we didn’t already know about.
ASX was as flat as a witch’s teat overnight, as if there was a trading halt. I mean FLAT, at $.022 for the whole session.
Hands up anyone who has ever seen that on 88e.
Back to the Issue of shares to Contractor X.
When do they actually get to OWN the shares? Did someone mention Friday, yesterday.
If, big IF, it is the Analysis Lab who is Contractor X, should the Logging Analysis Update RNS be released before they physically own the shares?
I don’t know the answer but if the SP surges northwards on the RNS release, if it were to made public earlier than Friday, what financial effect would that have on the price of those shares to Contractor X.
Would they actually “Lose” the gain?
If I’m talking bulltish here please say.
Just seems strange that at the last minute, we created more shares for a Contractor & we didn’t get the RNS we were hoping for & this coming Friday, is like a key day.
I for one, still remain really Bullish on this, been in since ’15 & have always looked forward to our annual midwinter event & then waited patiently for the next one, when things just went slightly askew.
If our time is NOW, I can wait another couple of weeks.
Good Luck All, as Usual.

Alaska holds ALL the Aces & this release from Pantheon proves just that. Not just a case of drilling on the North Slope & flowing oil. There are so many minor roadblocks which ultimately prevent flowing oil.
I suppose, what I am trying to say is that 88e are no worse or better than anyone else up there in Alaska.
Nothing in the oil industry is ever going to be easy or a giveaway.
We are still in this game, as are Pantheon & we will just have to be patient to wait & see.
Continued GoodLuck to All Involved.
