Hi Paddy 20:53,
I think if they wait until Mid August for the final analysis which will be "Fluid analysis with oil geochemistry 5-10 weeks", we could all be buying in @ 0.25p again. We have slipped through the 1.3p support now & any lack of news on an ongoing basis until mid August will kill this share. Great for topping up but horrendous for those of a nervous disposition.
keefy
If analysis is being done by 4 Different Teams/Companies, we could actually see results for 1 - 4 anytime from now to the last week in May.
Earliest we could see 5 & 6 is Last week of May / Ist week of June if they were to throw the kitchen sink at them & achieve supersonic turnaround of results.
IMHO, Safest bet for results 5 - Mid (14th) July, & results 6 - mid (14th) August.
All info bearing in mind, the word Rough, used when offering the schedule.
We can only wait & see, but 4 positive results for Analysis' 1 - 4 next week at AGM would give Ashley some REAL cred for his maiden RNS.
Good Luck to All sailing on this Good Ship 88e.
keefy
perhaps showing what list we are talking would help.
The rough schedule of testing and results is as follows:
1 Core photography (white and UV light) and geological descriptions 2-3 weeks
2 Isotope analysis of mud gas 2-4 weeks
3 VAS on cuttings 2-4 weeks
4 Results from centrifugal spin out of oil samples from select cores 3-4 weeks
5 Routine core analysis including saturations from Dean Stark 4-8 weeks
6 Fluid analysis with oil geochemistry 5-10 weeks

Hi All,
Anyone care to hazard a guess if the same company will be handling the Analysis on 1 - 4 in the list below?
Just trying to put a timeline chart together.
Obviously makes a big difference if it is same company, as periods become cumulative rather than parallel on a time chart.
Thanks in anticipation for any thoughts on this one.

Hey Jiddy, 15:22

Hi Avignon15 10:41,
thanks for your response. Nothing annoying me, just get bugged with myself when I cannot unravel a conundrum. Inadvertently this morning I was looking over an Aussie share, Elixir Energy, which I have just topped up on & looking through some links from a google search noticed Emerald House LLC in conjunction with EXR. Then I find that Entek buys Peregrine from Elixir Petroleum, as they were then. Entek then change their name to Xceed XCD & then we merge with XCD. All the time Emerald House are there & I don't understand what the link is. If you can elaborate, we will be friends for life.

Hi Jimbeaux 14:43,
Thanks for that buddy. Have opened most of the links I put up, but just don't understand why Emerald House LLC, based as you say in the US of A has been a key part of so many transactions, mainly Aussie. Is it some sort of "Umbrella" company ?
It was mentioned with XCD before we merged with them & indeed Entek before they changed their name to XCD.
Just an old boy who is finding this somewhat confusing. If you can elaborate even more JimB it would be appreciated.
Thanks again,
keefy

Just a tad more : The Inigok No. 1 well, drilled in the trend area many years ago by the U.S. Geological Survey, indicated a strong possibility of finding oil. Although the well was drilled deep, in search of oil in the Ellesmerian sequence, the host sequence for oil in the Prudhoe Bay field, the upper part of the well found gas with compositions indicative of the presence of light oil in the Brookian sequence, the rock sequence that includes the Nanushuk.
What's not to get excited about.

Hey Sherlock, 13:15
This is all about Nanushuk, from Prudhoe Bay, down through Willow & Harpoon & further south.
Week of March 01, 2020
Armstrong Oil & Gas Inc., through its subsidiary North Slope Energy LLC, has acquired a 72% working interest in the leases of Borealis Alaska Oil Inc.’s Castle West prospect in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska. The more than 92,000-acre lease block appears to lie immediately east of the eastern end of the 970,000 acres that North Slope Energy won in last year’s NPR-A lease sale. The leases sit to the immediate west of ConocoPhillips’ Harpoon prospect, within the highly prospective Nanushuk play fairway. Exploration within the Nanushuk in recent years has resulted in a number of major oil finds.
“We definitely have plans to drill it, but we don’t know the timing of that drilling yet. We’re taking the lessons we learned from Pikka and applying them there,” Armstrong Oil & Gas CEO Bill Armstrong told Petroleum News on Feb. 24.
“We are excited about our new partnership with Borealis at Castle West,” Armstrong commented in a news release announcing the working interest acquisition. “The Nanushuk play on the North Slope of Alaska is currently the world’s hottest, conventional, onshore oil play. Since our discovery of the multibillion-barrel Pikka field in 2013, the Nanushuk play has had an extremely high exploration success rate with five large new discoveries, yet the play is still in its infancy and has barely been explored.”
“We are very pleased to work with Armstrong considering their prominent successes in the North Slope over the past two decades,” said Doris Cheng, Borealis Alaska Oil CEO.
Borealis holds an NPR-A lease position amounting to 206,966 acres, referred to as the Castle Prospect Trend, directly southwest of ConocoPhillips’ Willow oil discovery. There are six individual lower Nanushuk prospects, including the Castle West prospect, within the trend. Borealis is seeking joint ventures, to share the cost of exploration in the trend.
The Inigok No. 1 well, drilled in the trend area many years ago by the U.S. Geological Survey, indicated a strong possibility of finding oil. This has to be the take out from above:
We are Excited about our new partnership with Borealis at Castle West,” Armstrong commented in a news release announcing the working interest acquisition. “The Nanushuk play on the North Slope of Alaska is Currently the World’s Hottest, Conventional, Onshore Oil Play. Hi cbaron,
ref me @ Wed 15:57: As Brom states, read above, below & between the lines.
Not my words but I wish they were. I do however, read most of the ANN's more than once, just in case I missed or misinterpreted something. I also make assumptions based on what I read & that may well be to my detriment.
We all have a voice & an opinion & where better to broadcast & hear them, than on a civilised board like this?
Good Luck to All.
keefy
Hi cbaron 19:11,
so, this is all you see - a few failed drills and a recent SP leg-up from social media.
Not much point putting out updates if that's all you see.
Above, below & in between the lines I'm not so sure you will have read the word "failed" in any the RNS updates over the past couple of years, indeed from any RNS from the pen of Dave Wall. If you have seen it, I will humbly, stand corrected.
In your opinion, how would you, consider failure either this year or last year?
We will judge your response over the coming weeks.
Still Holding
keefy
But, EcquaG,
we drilled, logged & ran stage 1 wire logging. The results of which will be announced over the next 9 (Nine) weeks & counting down.
As Brom states, read above, below & between the lines. That is certainly the case with 88e RNS announcements, for the past 2 years.
Remember last year, Premier Oil walked away within hours & look what analysis has found. Now we are even looking again at Charlie & Icewine to compare findings with that other oilers' recent discovery at Talitha. You don't necessarily need to flow oil to put yourself in the Shop Front Window.
Lets sit tite & wait & see.
I remain the eternal optimist.
Good Luck All
